Meet the Morph Team ~ Maree
Maree joined the Morph team in 2023 and the passion and dedication she has shown to the craft have turned her into a face painting superstar!

Maree loves dress-up and prior to becoming a professional face painter was already creating some spectacular (and award winning) Halloween costumes. If you book Maree for a gig she will often come dressed to theme so keep an eye out for her rainbow skirt, flower crown or dinosaur shorts!

Maree also comes from a creative background, being an award winning embroiderer and embroidery tutor, an accomplished seamstress and is currently gallery assistant at Stratford’s Percy Thomson Art Gallery.

A keen people person, Maree loves chatting to the children, especially when they share her love of LEGO and Star Wars!

We also have a summer team of painters who help during busy season so look out for their intro later in the year.

Meet the Morph Team ~ Helen
Helen started face painting in December 2015 after a search for a face painter for her daughter’s 5th birthday fell flat. Like she does with most creative endeavours, Helen thought ‘I’m sure I could do that!’ And fell down a Youtube rabbit hole. Parents that attended that party asked Helen to paint at their children’s parties and Morph was born.

Helen enjoys painting the tried and true designs but also likes going off-board and painting requests. It always fascinates her what ideas the kids come up with - the most random and memorable being ‘mosquito’ and ‘flying toast.’

Helen lives in Stratford with her husband, daughter, father-in-law and two terrible but terribly cute Foxy x Jack Russells, Schnitzel and Winnie.

With 8.5 years of painting under her belt, we’re sure you’ve seen Helen at an event in central or south Taranaki. She’s also the one who takes bookings and organises the calendar, so if you are thinking of enhancing your next party with face painting then send Helen a message.

Things to note:
- doors open at 6:45 and close at 7:45
- one way door - once you’re in you must stay until 10pm unless collected by a parent or guardian

The TSB festival of lights winter pop-up starts tonight! Come and get glow painted, you’ll find us in the glow container on Puke Ariki landing.

•16 new designs to choose from!
•Cash or eftpos available
•Not just for the kids, it’s for grown-ups too!
•Three face painters on most nights so it’ll be a quick queue

There were a lot of Rudolfs roaming Hawera before their Christmas parade today as Maree and I spent the morning painting our fast-face Christmas designs.
Big thanks to Bizlink Hawera for booking us and to the public for being in such a lovely festive mood.
Also thanks to the beautiful fairy from Be Magical for taking a photo of us face painters all ready for action.
