Shout out and thank you to Oreti Village for the fabulous Brides of Yesteryear fundraiser they held last weekend to raise money for our rescue helicopter.
Those attending were invited to dress as mother of the bride or in their old wedding dress. My friend Lynette (another Taupo celebrant) wore my wedding dress from 45 years ago (sadly I didn't fit it)... and I wore my sisters bridesmaid dress from my wedding day.
We were over the moon to jointly win the best outfit prize!! A big thankyou to Oreti Village and all the generous sponsors... made my day. 🤗

WITNESSES... did you know there is no age limit in NZ? As long as they understand what they are doing, anyone can be a witness.
These two lovlies were witnesses for their father and aunt... was a very meaningful way to include them in the ceremony.
