All hands were on deck transforming the Taupō Events Centre for the annual Ngāti Tūwharetoa Taiopenga Kapa Haka Festival this week.
With more than 3,000 performers and supporters attending the event, please be aware parking at the Taupō Events Centre and AC Baths will be limited.
The festival starts tomorrow (Tuesday) and runs daily from 8am to 4.30pm until Thursday 15 September. There will be event signage in place, and high volumes of traffic and pedestrian activity on AC Baths Avenue throughout the week, so please take extra care while driving in the area.

AC Baths: Open as usual, weekdays 6am to 9pm and weekends 7am to 7pm.
Fitness Studio: Open as usual 6am to 9pm.
Taupo Events Centre: Closed to the public from 9 to 17 September.
Indoor Rockwall: Closed from 9 to 16 September.
Fitness studio
The fitness studio will be open as usual. Please note that the mezzanine section will be closed off during the event. Masters club classes cancelled for 13and 15 September.
Aqua Fitness and Swim School
Aqua classes and swim school will operate as usual. Please allow more time to get here and find a park before classes.
Taupō Rockwall
Taupō Rockwall is closed from 9 to 16 September due to the event in the stadium.
Open 17 September from 10am to 1.30pm.
Open 18 September from 10am to 1.30pm.
Regular open hours resume from 19 September

Spa Park will echo with the sound of music, foot fall and breathing when the inaugural NZ Cross Country Relay takes this weekend!

The races will be staged around an undulating 1km lap with great spectating opportunities.
Race numbers are to be collected from the registration marquee on Friday 29th July from 2.00pm to 5.00pm and on Saturday morning from 8.00am through to 9.30am.
