Another wedding season done and dusted. A lot of beautiful celebrations and a lot of happy brides and grooms. It was our pleasure to be able to host them all and be part of your special day.

If you are free this Friday through to Sunday pop down to the lake front or Lake Taupo Yacht Club to and watch and support our Tauhara College Sailing teams! They are competing in the 2024 Central North Island Secondary Schools Regatta.

Our students have braved the cold waters of Lake Taupo and are determined to show our community their efforts and how hard work pays off.

We are proud of all your hard mahi!

A very busy month to finish off a very busy 2023! Thanks to our team and all our customers who’ve made it such a blast.
It’s now the great kiwi closedown and we’re off until Monday the 8th of January.
Hope everyone has a great Christmas and new year, and we’re looking forward to doing it with you again next year.

We're holding our first annual Father's Day buffet lunch at the Lake Taupo Yacht Club today, to celebrate all the Dad's out there and everything they do for us.
What's better than a delicious 3 meat carvery, a cold one, and the best view in town.

Great Lake Taupō Hockey would like to wish all our Secondary School Athletes all the best at their respective school tournaments throughout Aotearoa.

If you have stayed in Taupō we are hosting the North Island Mixed Tournament. First game kicks off Monday (tomorrow) morning at 8am with the last game at 8pm. The SinBin will be open, come on down and enjoy some hockey.

Job opening!!
We are on the hunt for a part time chef to come and join our team for approximately 15 - 20 hours a week. Hour's negotiable and can be massaged to suit you, however, some weekend and evening work will be required.
Duties will include baking and cooking for a range of both in and out-catered events.
Previous knowledge and experience in food handling and food safety is a must.
Good wages paid to the right applicant.

Where does Constables Corner come from?

In 2015, I studied and completed my Diploma in Patisserie and Bakery in Rotorua. I have been passionate about baking (and food) since I was a young child, often measuring a school or family activity based on what we were fed. I didn’t need to be fancy, but it needed to be filling and tasty!

We started our business making a range of pastries, cheesecakes and sweet treats to sell at the local market early 2016. 6 months further into the year, we decided pursue our food adventure further and purchased a small business, located on Miro St, Taupo. We named the business Constables Corner after our family name and painted the building bright purple.

Our business has now grown to include buffet catering, light catering (morning/afternoon tea, work lunches, smoko shouts), dessert catering, nibbles, cakes of all flavours, varieties and styles - including Birthday, Wedding, Celebration, Cheesecakes and just for the love of cake.

After a year of ideas, markets and inspiration we are on a new venture with our new building name in October 2018 - Constables - Kitchen on Miro. We are offering hand made Ciabatta sandwiches, pies, slices, beautiful Volcanic coffee, breakfasts and lunch meals, with options to suit everyone. Come and visit, we have seating and a view!
