In times like these, true allies stand out, not just during Pride, but all year round and keep showing up like a steady lighthouse in a storm.
has been one of those allies, and so I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Rachelle Duffy, who has supported Ginger’s and everything it stands for from the very beginning. From lending a hand at events to giving us greater media reach when our community needs it most, the support of her and her team reminds us that real allyship isn’t just words, it’s about action. 🧡

Get ready, party peeps! We’re rolling into our 8th year of bringing you the best NYE mini festivals right here in Tauranga Moana, and guess what? Every year has been a sell-out, and this one’s going to be no different! We’re all about giving you a cheap and cheerful (let’s say ‘easy on the wallet’!) night packed with nostalgia, good vibes, and some of the best local craft brews around.

The best part? It’s all happening within walking distance to the Mount, with plenty of room to breathe, chill, and vibe no matter your era—Gen Z, Millennial, Boomer, or Baby Boomer, we’ve got the tunes and feels to match. We’re going GLOW, so grab your best neons if you wanna be a glow-in-the-dark beb.

If you aren’t feeling the rave scene but don’t want to miss out on that sweet New Year’s FOMO? This is your jam - We designed this night for the crew who want to sing their hearts out to bangers from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s, all under the stars at Mount Maunganui’s award-winning brewhouse, The Rising Tide / Mount Brewing Co. And you’ll even catch a sneaky view of the Blake Park fireworks at midnight!

So, time travelers, throw on your best retro outfit from your favorite decade, rally your squad, and come dance your way into 2025. Prizes for best-dressed are up for grabs, and Johnny’s Dumplings will be on deck to keep those munchies at bay. But heads up, tickets always fly, so don’t snooze on this one.

It’s been a bit quiet on the Blabla socials lately, but behind the scenes, it’s been anything but! I’ve been deep in work with some incredible clients across wine, beverages, coffee, and festivals. My new event series has absolutely popped off so it’s been a HUGE couple of months getting ready for our North Island tour over the next few months.

BUT you know I love putting on a good mini festy, so I’ve also been mega busy 🐝 behind the scenes prepping events for our beautiful Tauranga Moana and we’ve got some favorites already lined up! We’re closing out 2024 with a bang at the annual BANGERZ New Year’s Eve bash at , along with fresh new events packed with diversity, culture and damn good music as we kick into 2025 after the silly season. 💪🏻 💚

If we get on the boat now we will be there just on time to reach Tauranga Moana for St Paddy’s weekend 🛶.
Tauranga’s very first Irish Festival is landing on Saturday 15th March 2025 AND it’s being delivered to ye by folks born and bred on Irish soil, so we’re gonna show ye how it’s done 💪🏻.
