A tip for photos with your loved ones: get your whole group photo first then flip your usual photo list upside down. Get photos with your groups of friends and colleagues then send them off to drinks/cocktails etc. Then the big photos of family eg all the aunts, uncles, cousins, and send them away to drinks. Finish with just the immediate families. You will love the quieter time with just your parents and siblings. Also, family tends to wait around but friends wander off in search of a drink while you’re doing photos!

After an incredibly busy summer of weddings I’ve had a break from ceremony writing. But I am back into it again now and really enjoying it. This one was fun but needed some research about Liverpool Football Club.

It’s still my favourite “kiss at a wedding” photo. This marriage took place during a fishing trip north of Auckland. We fished, swam, changed into tidier clothes for the marriage, then jumped overboard for more swimming. On your wedding day, you do you. Get married the way YOU want.

These gorgeous people had an intimate wedding at my place then went off to have lunch with surprised friends who had no idea it was really a little wedding reception!

Another beautiful wedding I had the pleasure to be apart of in the celebrants back garden.

Such a beautiful ceremony watching these 2 tie the knot only giving their family a short amount of notice.
