As we know Covid has shifted our priorities on how we approach practice and competition. Has your Club or sports organization met all the necessary thresholds? How often are the athletes tested? What about social distancing? Lastly does the program your with have insurance coverage to cover its athletes in the event something may occur? Check with your club director to get full disclosure and show you all documentation pertaining to the club and it’s players. You have the right to complete transparency. FB Family as you go out today know that you're being prepared for something great in your life that for many of you in unforeseen. We can't know everything as if we can forecast it. What we can do though is continue to develop in us the ability to move forward enhance our skills and abilities so when the time comes we can perform task necessary for what the moment dictates us to accomplish. For by doing so risks become easier to take,like walking out in faith out into the unknown of our lives of the things imagined that become a reality. So to live by faith not by sight is crucial to moving forward into deeper dimensions of every day life even if your day seems mundane doesn't mean something isn't happening around you. So whatever you're experiencing and going through is only temporary keep in mind life is a series of moments. So live each moment as if it's your last and work to bring the most out of yourself. Because your best is just that your success of the day which no one can interpret but you.

As the great Coach John R Wooden said from his creation the "Pyramid of Success. "Success is peace of mind knowing that you did your best you to be the best you could be" Only you know if thats true. So remember always

Greetings everyone

Greatness starts with great parents who give direction and a mission statement for life. Doesn't mean you have to choose their path but at least an example is there to follow. For some of you looking to improve and make better of your sports program all you need is fine tuning. If you're wanting to be the best you can be as an athlete all you need is the right encouragement and training regiment. For the rest just inspiration is all you need. Here at RJB consulting we look to do that and more in meeting your needs to further establish who you are and what you want to achieve. I leave you now with this clip about two role models, the coach and the athlete and what is means to have an excellent coach and being a dedicated athlete what it can produce when those relationships are what there supposed to be. Parents and players for every one former and present player gives back to the game that developed them hundreds don't give back to the sport but for only self-serving reasons. So unfortunately we have a shortage of role-models that kids come in direct contact with. So when you get a former collegiate player like Lauren Fendrick out of UCLA and now RIO bound. The uniqueness of Lauren is she didn't start her path towards beach volleyball till the age of 23. So boys and girls its not to late to dream big as lauren did. In this case the earlier the better with a great plan success can be obtained. So in less than 20 days we can follow another bruin to the finish line of achieving Olympic Gold like so many before her. Thank our lucky stars for Lauren and her partner.

Parents and Players when choosing a program for your son and daughter, I can't tell you how important it is the vette the program ask plenty of questions of coaches and directors to find out the Philosophy of the program and how is it applied to athletes.
First look to see what the certification requirements are of the program. A good indicator of a well professionally run program is a program that requires its coaches to get certification from a governing body that requires hours upon hours and levels of professional training. Many programs need to have a ethics, sports psychology, mental training and development etc... the more comprehensive the better. What that tells you is that Director is concerned of the quality of his or hers coaches to better serve the needs of the athletes and the families as a whole. If bullying exist its a clear indication the director did not make it a priority to screen the potential coaches to know what there true character was like. So please ask the hard questions and if you need help contact us for assistance.
