Well it’s been a massive week for us out catering every day, Yesterday we were at Old Forest School wedding venue in Pongakawa catering a wedding and here’s a little bit of what we served up.

Just gauging some interest, while I was in Florida I was talking to my good friends Moe Cason Bob Trudnak Slade Douglas and members of Moe Cason barbecue team, they are potentially looking at coming over to N.Z. next year for a fishing and hunting trip. How many people would be keen if I organised a couple of dinners cooked by some of the best Pitmasters on the planet?

Tonight was the night for the VIP area we had to feed about 500 people, we did 5 different plated meals I’m not going to lie it was full on but we smashed it. I got to cook some NZ lamb racks from Blue Sky from Invercargill
I had some great friends and some of the biggest hitters in American barbecue that helped execute these meals and get everything out on time.
Sunday is the barbecue comp and I get to judge….

Busy day today, we’ve got a couple of functions on we’re catering for . This was lunch we served up for a birthday in Matapihi .

Thanks to everyone that made our Fathers Day BBQ Class yesterday such an awesome day. It was a great day and a huge amount of fresh cooked bbq food , refereshments and a few laughs. We loved meeting many of you and great see a few of you back at our bbq class again. As we said yesterday for us bbq is about great food and great people getting together to share and enjoy an afternoon together and learning a few secrets of Big Smoke BBQ along the way, Our next BBQ Class is on Sunday 20th October 2024 and due to how busy we are in the catering side, this maybe the last one for 2024.
