BEST OF LUCK to Harry Strang, off to Hong Kong in a couple of days, to represent NZ (and TYPBC) in the 2024 Asian & Oceania Optimist Championships. A big congratulations to Thomas Linklater for taking out the top spot at the BOP Starling Match Racing Trials today! 🌟⛵ It was a fantastic day of racing, with impressive performances from all five talented sailors. A huge thank you to our skilled umpires, John Rountree and Gary Smith, for ensuring a fair and exciting competition. Good luck to Thomas in the Caltex Cup!

Pre-Christmas sailing celebrations continue this weekend with the Panepane Fun Night Rally, then a day to recover before Sunday's Karewa Island Race, including yachts with crews from our WOW (Women on Water) programme, giving them a taste of ocean racing. Conditions looking very favourable so far... Fingers and toes crossed!😉

Congratulations to our CB sailors who attended the Sir Peter Blake Regatta on the weekend, some great results. Especially Harry Strang 2nd in the Opti Open and Adam Mark 3rd in the ILCA class, a brilliant effort!!! We also had a number of our sailors in the top 10, and others achieving personal bests. Congrats to all!!!!
