I've been wanting to draft a pattern for a flower girl basket for a long time now, and yesterday I finally sat down to do it!!

Over the coming weeks I'll be making one-off flower girl baskets to sell, so if you're on the hunt for one, keep an eye on my social media or Trade Me accounts for new designs and hopefully one tickles your fancy.

I've been told they are very popular at weddings and are a fabulous alternative to guest books.

Leave one with each placemat (with a few scattered pens on each table) and your guests are less likely to forget to write you a little message 😉

A neat idea is to lock them away for a year and then read them all on your first wedding anniversary.

What a rollercoaster ride for the Wedding Industry!

The recent lockdown has given me pause to reflect on what really matters, time to rejuvenate from the stress of everyday life and the ability to spend quality time with my children 🥰
As a result, I've now walked back into my little studio with a clear head and fresh ideas! So for that I am grateful.

For me personally - it's heartwarming to see sales and enquiries picking up again. It means Brides and Grooms are getting back into the swing of planning their 'Big Days'!

Please get in touch if there is a bridal accessory you would like made. The garter in the photo is one I made up this week for a Bride who is having Navy and White for their colour scheme.

One of the greatest joys I get in life is helping out those close to me.

On March 5th 2021, our beautiful friends Baiba and Pete tied the knot at Flatwhite Waihi Beach ~ a stunning venue right on the beachfront.

I was over the moon when Baiba and Pete asked me to make their cake and bridal ring pillow. It's always an honour to be a small part of a couple's special day.

Today, on a Sunday afternoon, I'm in my little room relaxing and letting the constant hum of my machine take me away to my happy place.

All of my horseshoes are made from scratch using quality trims and materials.
I use mdf horseshoe inners that I had custom made ~ these are also available to purchase if you would like to DIY your own horseshoe!

White Dove Bridal Accessories was created after the birth of my second child. It was my dream to work from home and be flexible for my children during all of their school years - so far it’s ‘a dream come true’!
