Wild&Whim is a Wedding Planning service that builds events around your personal style and goals. Our events don't just look pretty - we consider every detail, every attendee, and every requirement of an event to create fun, vibrant, ground-breaking experiences. we create memories - the things lives are made of. We are a wedding planning, design, and production team based in

Tauranga, NZ, but love to travel! We begin our personalized process by pulling inspiration from you the couple! We want to know what you like, love and the characteristics of your relationship that make you exceptionally unique and therefore, in turn, we will be producing the amazing framework for the most important day of your lives. Our emphasis is the complete event experience for you and your guests, with every detail exactly planned, tailored and perfect. We want to help make your dreams a reality. This involves a lot of organization, attention to detail and creativity. We would be so honoured to help you plan and begin the journey we call marriage.

Wild&Whim is nothing without the team behind the scenes. They’re not all pictured here but these gals sprint across venues when guests need something, move hundreds of chairs from ceremony to reception, shift arches in the rain, clean toilets when they overflow, help duct tape shoes together- just to name a few!

They do it rain or shine, never complaining and always come back for more! Without them I couldn’t make these special days run so smoothly!

Recently engaged? A big congrats! Here are some things you should consider as you start the planning journey!

Obviously take some time to enjoy and celebrate your engagement 🥂

Guest list- it’s hard to even begin looking at venues/marquees when you don’t even know how many people it needs to hold!

Once you’ve got an estimated guests list sorted it’s time for the Budget chat! Don’t go booking vendors without having this conversation because you’d hate to spend all your money on one vendor category and then realise it after the fact that the budget doesn’t even allow for X to be spent!

From there pick your top three things that are most important to you for your special day- whether it’s design based, food & atmosphere, amazing photos- this will help you see where the budget can be tweaked in areas.

These are part time and seasonal position which could lead to more events throughout the year. You will be working on site at weddings/events, under the supervision of the lead planner-helping with whatever needs doing to ensure the wedding is looking perfect and running smoothly. This job is fast paced, can involve set up of decor/lifting and needs high energy and grace under pressure.

Successful applicants must be:

•Dependable, efficient, enthusiastic, professional
•Take initiative and radiate positivity
•Have excellent time management and communication skills
•Able to work weekend and evenings
•Have your own vehicle
•Wedding industry experience is preferred but not necessary as we will train you up!
