Nau mai hoki mai Ngairo Eruera (Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāti Awa, Tūhoe), who translated the signage at Baycourt to include Te Reo Māori alongside the English translations.
Earlier this year we installed signage backstage, which completed all the signs around our whare and we'd love to share them with you during Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori.
These translations are taonga (cherished treasures) to us and we invited Ngairo along to delve into the stories behind the translated signs across the week. So keep an eye out for them over the next few days.
