Deadline for public submissions on the Principles of the Treaty of Waitangi Bill has been extended till the 14th of January! Bay of Plenty pride has made a submission to oppose this harmful bill. Individuals can voice their opinions too, it's easy and doesn't take long, and very important to stop it in its tracks, so click in the link below if you didn't get a chance to make a submission yet.

Following a huge amount of advocacy and work on behalf of our community, YoubeYou are pleased to announce that Tauranga City Council voted to accept the proposal for the installation of a Rainbow Crossing in Tauranga Moana. Just superb!

Set to adourn either side of a new pedestrian crossing on Devonport Road outside the current library, this is a huge step forward for Tauranga Moana and a celebration of our diverse society. Kia Kaha.

Tauranga Moana just grew up a little today. Onwards!
