I think our flowers have sprung for the season! These little beauties went to adorn a wedding anniversary dinner table this weekend. I hope they were enjoyed as much as we loved putting them together.

Spring is wonderfully alive in the gardens and amongst the slog of tidying up the flush of weeds that the warm weather encourages, I'm remembering to pause and notice.
The majority of flowers coming up at the moment are the pinks and purples.
And the plants always mystify me when they put themselves with a complimentary, or the same, coloured bloom. Like the white aquilegia (granny bonnet) that has self-sown by the white false valerian and alstromeria! The pink, red and purple granny bonnets are in the next bed over. Wow.

Ready for the tuber sale?
Tomorrow night - Tuesday 8th 7pm - I will post up all the tubers with their price info. Just assemble your list and PM it through to me with your address. It’s that simple!

Shipping: Pick up from our gardens for free. Otherwise: I will package your tubers the best I can to not compromise the quality of your tuber(s) and send your order in the most economical way possible. I will let you know the cost of shipping in a reply message. Happy shopping!

Can you even get over the two-tone of this beauty?! What a spellbinder. Just another beautiful bloom to feast your eyes on in your garden in summer.

Ferncliff Illusion
Lovely big blooms of white edged with purple. Plenty of flowers and grows about 120cm tall.

La Luna
A huge dinnerplate bloom of sunny bright yellow. Such a cheerful addition to the garden, with loads of flowers. Grows tall.

Bristol Stripe
This is a stunner with frilly blooms - layers of variegated violet and white petals. Makes quite a statement in the garden.

Mikalya Miranda
This is a very romantic dahl of white flowing to rounded lavender tips. We love using her in our bouquets.

Giveaway competition!
I grew this gorgeous blousey pink dahl from seed. 2023 was her third season, proving that the blooms are stable. She produces lots of these large beautiful flowers on a wonderfully tall plant.
And she needs a name!

The next installment of dahlia tubers for the sale on Tuesday…

Wizard of Oz
This very popular and extremely gorgeous ball dahlia with petite 7cm blooms. It has long tall stems with candy floss pink flowers, great for a vase.

Genova
A pale mauve beauty tipped with purple, another ball variety. It is very bloomiferous – that’s loads of flowers 😉- all season long. Flowers on long stems - great for the vase.

Seduction.
What a name *wink* and this little decorative stunner doesn’t disappoint. Lavender and white tones with dark undersides, we’ve loved having her in our garden.

Bohemian Spartacus.
This dinnerplate sized bloom, red with yellow flecks is just a stunner. Huge flowers atop strong stems make a great display.

Pink cactus and Joyful Investment,

The pink cactus is a lovely old-fashioned tuber, so will produce heaps of tubers and loads of flowers. It grows up to 120cm tall, so makes a great blooming display, and wonderful in your arrangements. 

Joyful investment is a bee pleaser and isn't she just the cutest flower?!  This one grows over a metre with loads of blooms too.

Welcoming Totally Tangerine and Mick's Peppermint first out the gate. Both provide many gorgeous blooms. Totally Tangerine grows 50-60cm high and Mick's to about 120cm.
Mick's can throw wonderful variations in the petals.
