A reflection on last summer as we head into a new season.. At the start of this season, I was didn’t know where to start, or how to start.

Terrified of failing. Terrified of wasting money. Terrified that nobody would buy my flowers and they would just die.

From growing mostly sunflowers, to stretching out this year, take a chance and grow more varieties, make mixed bunches and see where this little dream of mine could take me.

And it completely filled my cup. 🤍

There’s something so special about growing something with your own hands and then watching it bring joy to someone else — I got to share my homegrown flowers for a range of different occasions and circumstances last year, mostly happy ones but also some sad ones.

I’m learning that sometimes you just have to start before you feel ready. To stop worrying about what people might think, back yourself, and do the things that make your heart happy.

Because when your cup is full, it has a funny way of overflowing into the lives of other people. 🌸

So… this is me officially sharing the journey. The hard lessons (because I’ve had more plant deaths than I can count).

Here’s to the warmer spring weather and doing the thing that scares you. 😅🌸🌱
