Loved this guy Jaydin Shingleton Music when he sang for a wedding here.... Had neighbors pulling up deck chairs at their fence line listening!! Incredible singer and on The Voice Australia TV 2 Saturday nights 😊💜💚

I always say how beautiful the garden is roughly from the middle of October to the middle of November.... But when it happens, it still amazes me - and I've been the partner maker and keeper of this garden for 22 years. Each and every year it never fails to give us this pleasure!! Over the years I've taken "zillions" of photos of this tree in spring, summer and autumn... Especially in spring... Well, here we go again 😂 showing every singly angle I can appreciate.
It's one of my top 5 favorites at this time of year and recently I've just not been out to it and appreciated it like I use to. Right now I'm standing under it, listening to the bees and watching the blossom fall like snow in the wind

Had the best day in my garden today!! (thanks to the good weather!!) When you find yourself working for "a job" more than you expected in life, but then loving your job, sometimes it's hard to find that all important BALANCE!! (something, people in my life have tried to get me to understand for over 20 years now😏) Today, after weeks - I found myself on the property alone. Ahh the all precious ALONE!!! 😏
I got into the hideous job of our felled trees, I got the crappy jobs of weeding done, and then I got into my 'wizard of oz' part of the garden and was able to have so much fun again..it reminded me of a time I use to get this"garden hit" daily....now with a full time job it's few and far between... But WOW(especially during hybernation season 😏😉)
What a kick I got out of my" day off" 😉

I know this looks like nothing, but man are we sitting in front of a great fire, looking up at the stars and appreciatin...

We enjoyed hosting A BEAUTIFUL couple today for their ceremony!! Plus it was such a joy to work with a celebrant I've never worked with before too! Having cleaned up from today, now we're prepping for next weeks wedding. There's always prep - no matter what. Depending on the season and what the weather presents us with/what the garden challenges us with, there is ALWAYS that prep. I can respect when people ask us "how much for just an hour" or "how much for just 20 people". Its not that simple. Our world is very different to such a question. To us, 20 people for 1 hour is the same work as 120 people for 3 hours. We still have the maintenance of the garden to uphold for hosting and photos, the time that it takes for set up and clean up, the toilets to empty and clean... The list goes on. Tonight's irrigation took an hour to set back up after being packed up and hidden for today's wedding. #behindthescenes 😏💜💚 Still enjoy sharing our haven, especially for a gorgeous bride and groom like today's couple!!! Congrats S & J!! I hope you have A PERFECT evening!!

Two of my favorites to work with for a wedding!!! I know Michelle has her back to this photo because she's too busy working but she's included in this appreciation!! The other is Pip Giles, the celebrant who I just ADORE! She takes the piss out of me and my 'fastidiousness' but she totally let's me do my job my way, and with respect ☺️ we laugh together how she gets told off (by me!) for trying to help 😉 She's finishing up with weddings now and I'm going to miss her hugely!! She is always open, with big warm smiles and so very accepting to everyone's personalities and ideas 😍💜💚💜💚 I'll miss you Pip!!!! 😘 I loved being able to celebrate such a cool couple with you today as one of your lasts!!! So much love lady!

FINALLY! I got up early, cooked lunch, baked for the week to come, cleaned and did extra washing - then told hubby who was still in bed (I won't disclose what time 😉) I'm out - I'M IN THE GARDEN! Finally!!!! I've had my medicine! It was A push but by God I needed to push those gumboots on!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 Got heaps done and Feel. So. Much. BETTER!!!!!! Hibernating ain't my thing 😊🤣😊💜💚 67 SLEEPS TILL SPRING!!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
