Olam Food Ingredients (OFI). Who are they?
They are a company who have built one of their factories in the South Waikato producing high-value milk powder ingredient products. Over time they will be expanding their facilities to include desserts, bakery, beverages and confectionery products🤯. What a blessing for Tokoroa!

Yesterday, we catered for one of their corporate events - our Kebab Platter was also introduced at this event and will be featured as an option on our brochures. Grateful for the opportunity to be able to showcase our food at this level!

Yes! We are opening shop!
Hilltop will soon have a face for its business where you'll be able to indulge in our delectable 'Island Food' offerings (extending beyond just Samoan cuisine) right here in Tokoroa! Additionally, we will also feature some of the beloved dishes from our catering menus too.

Some weekend catering drop offs. First time order for our kids boxes for a 1st birthday celebration. Also added to our per head menu is our vegetarian option. Great feedback with our new kids menu too.👌

A 50th Wedding anniversary and a 70th birthday were both celebrated on Saturday for the beautiful Mikara family. Thank you for reaching out to us to cater for such important milestones.

It was so good to see this beautiful couple again, as their daughter (my maid of honour) go waaay back! They were always so good to me🥰. I wish you both, Jack & Hine many more years to your union and good health and strength for many more years to come💞.

Like many other Pacific businesses, family is our why and our how. Hilltop founder Melissa Fuatino was inspired by her husband’s knowledge of business, growing up around a family business environment back in Samoa, and also her children to grow her business with the help of her family and close friends, some of whom even traveled from Auckland to come and help at catering events. This is the secret spice behind why her business is flourishing 5 years after being founded.

Hilltop Catering had its inception in founder Melissa Fuatino Hill’s childhood when she spent time working for a family-owned island food shop during the school holidays. Years later a relative encouraged her to open her own catering business after tasting her food at family events. Her experience has been invaluable in shaping Hilltop Catering into the business it is today!

Weekend catering at Maungatautari Marae, located 18km southeast of Cambridge. A lovely Xmas get together lunch for a beautiful whānau who made us feel so welcome🥰. A bbq menu was requested so we constructed and finalised all the details to ensure the food would be a hit!

Thank you again, Messina Taiki for the easy communication. Thank you for also trusting us to take care of the cooking, so that everyone could relax and enjoy the day. Appreciate the feedback too from you and your whānau🙏.

We have been asked to come on board as an ‘in house’ caterer for the South Waikato Event Centre🙏. Grateful for the opportunity to cater in this space.

It’s still not too late to book your work break-ups and corporate end-of-the year functions. Take advantage of our drop-off catering platters too which are becoming quite popular!

To those who have enquired about our menus and dates for catering, we cannot keep those dates open for you if you do not confirm and someone else wants it. So let us know asap when you decide so an invoice is sent out and your date is locked in.
