Box on the Hill is a lifestyle property as well as a small business. Elopements are our thing but being able to live off the land is super close to our hearts too. Our new little lambie will be raised with love, shelter, plenty of spray free grazing. It is all part of the cycle of us knowing where our food has come from. Our story as it evolves

Stay for a couples holiday or perhaps elope - just a handful of guests, no dramas and no huge expense.

6 years ago we were living in Melbourne. We had careers, house, mortgage, baby on the way...you know, just the usual. Life was good. But a chance google search found a struggling business for sale in the Coromandel and with a whirl of action we had bought it and were on a plane heading home to NZ.

The business was turned around developed into a boutique accommodation and elopement venue and who knew...elopement weddings were hugely popular! In 2016 we sold that business but the enjoyment of offering an accommodation and elopement service had got under our skin.

Fast forward to today and we are doing it all again but this time in countryside Raglan. We have built our home and a chic accommodation unit on our property. AirBnB style couples retreat.
