It's been a wee hot minute since any activity has passed through this account, we have been in restore mode! Hi 👋 ya'll - I'm Rebecca, creative director and head planner at my company, Fantail Weddings. After over a decade in business, the past couple of years have been the biggest test of my resilience.
Gratefully, from the experience of the pandemic, a breakup and moving up country I learnt to slow down, to breathe and to lean into what I really wanted.
I learnt that I wanted very intentional relationships with my clients so that I was totally immersed in their celebrations. This meant changing up systems, procedures and up-skilling me.
It meant asking for help and being real about what I am capable of delivering.
It meant stepping into my unknown and being curious and confident.
It meant choosing time with Jasper, my very handsome black Lab - Staffy cross loyal dog sidekick.
It meant knowing that I can say no ( huge for me to understand this! ) so that I am able to say a hand on heart yes to the right for me clients.
It's been a journey to get to here, taking a sabbatical and evolving, and I am very excited to welcome whence this journey is taking me and Fantail Weddings.
I am committed to providing a high touch concierge style full wedding planning service for international couples looking for an elevated wedding planning experience. I am not the wedding planner for all, but the perfect one for the few.

One of the biggest things that irks me at a ceremony is guests and the wedding party with their phones. It's just not cool - be in the moment, I say.

Here's a tip to let your guests get their perfect wedding ceremony snap out of the way so they can be present for the ceremony:

Have your celebrant give permission for all the guests to take the selfie snap and then put it away!

It's all in the details!

When planning your ceremony, set up a couple of key things to think about...

1. How wide does your aisle need to be - Do you have more than one person walking down the aisle? Then, make sure they have the room to move.

2. What kind of set-up would you like your ceremony seating to be staged in? Straight lines, curves, semi-circle? How many seats per row and how many rows? Are all your guests seated?

3. Do you have a veil that needs some room to move? This needs to be considered when setting up the seats.

I know there is lots to think about, and this is just your aisle's setup! Shoot me a DM if you need support to get you through the nearly wed push to walk down the aisle.
