Artist Profile: Elisara

Elisara is one of the key players in New Zealand’s underground drum and bass scene. He has risen to the forefront of the genre, with consistent sell out performances around the country and a niche style which he’s honed into his own production.

He originally hails from Mount Maunganui, but now resides in Wellington. Elisara is the Coastal Promotions second in command, a Club 121 and Starters Bar resident DJ and head of Coastal Collective Records.

He is recognised for a range of deep and dark Drum and Bass reminiscent of Soup’d Up Records & 1985 Music. He has supported K - Motionz, Kanine, Bou, Enei, Halogenix, Particle and Whiney to name a few. He has performed at Rhythm & Vines, Rhythm & Alps, Soundsplash and 121 Festival. With his debut EP and a sling of single release on the way, Elisara is truly a force to be reckoned with.

Just got booked for Rhythm and Vines Waiohika warm up with a bunch of legends so I thought it was about damn time I made some socials.

This year is going to be a mad one for myself & Coastal Promotions:
- We’ve got a show almost every week for the rest of the year.
- We’ve kicking off our record label ‘Coastal Collective Records’ with a group EP from all the fellas in our collective.
- Our hip hop brand Valley promotions is ripping back into it kicking off with ‘Taste Test’ headlines by the don NAUTI.
- Also cracked one of my first goals in this game w an individual rnv set!
