2024 that's a WRAP! What an exceptional year 🙌

🎉 Recapping the FUN side of event management! 🎉

What a year of creativity, delicious bites, and unforgettable moments it’s been! 🙌 When it comes to events, it’s not all about the logistics – it’s about those little touches that make everything unforgettable. Here’s a look back at some of the fun highlights that had us smiling all year long:

🍽️ Food, glorious food! From mouth-watering buffets to delectable plated dinners, we’ve seen (and tasted) it all.

🍴 Dinner themes – From Pirates of the Caribbean to elegant black-tie affairs, it was all about creating a vibe that matched the mood. ✨

🌱 Sustainable table centre pieces – Not only did they look stunning, but they were eco-friendly too! 🌍💚

☕ Coffee & pie carts – Conference staples! We estimate that we've served 10,000 cups of coffee!! ☕ 🥧

We donated to Youthline's URGENT Christmas appeal to help keep the Helpline running during the critical holiday period when so many young people struggle with their mental health. Could you make a donation too?

Youthline is an Youth development organisation that works with young people in NZ. Learn and grow with programs, workshops and trainings .

A triple celebration for the Twelve Team last night with Raynor’s birthday + end of year appreciation and celebration + welcoming our newest recruit Nicky to the team (who complemented the menu perfectly)! A shoutout to Lulu for their delicious share plates! 😋 🍹

Had an incredible behind-the-scenes experience at the New Zealand International Convention Centre construction site! We went on a hard hat tour and got to see firsthand the impressive progress being made on this landmark project. The scale and design of the building are truly next-level – we can already imagine how amazing it’s going to be once it’s complete!

Huge shoutout to the NZICC team for the informative and safe tour.

We just had an amazing stay at Horizons Hotel, the newest property by SkyCity that directly connects to the New Zealand International Convention Centre. This place is an absolute gem. Blown away by the conference offerings in Invercargill! They have a space for any size of conference or event and will make it work how you want it! Today we explored…
🏘️Ascot Park Hotel, set on 17 acres of park like setting, they have comprehensive conferences spaces and a farm to fork philosophy growing vegetables onsite.
🏢Kelvin Hotel Invercargill a 3.5⭐️ property with a dedicated conference floor with views and cost function spaces. Chef shared the secret to making Southern cheese scrolls!
🚴🏽‍♂️ILT Stadium Southland wow it’s huge but can be turned into any configuration you want including in the middle of a velodrome!
🏛️The grand Alexander Park property and grounds.
🌳Queens Park, the award winning gardens and the newly opened tuatara sanctuary. Check out the babies 🦎 & 🦚!

Southland Famil day 2 - discovering Rakiura Stewart Island! A quick 20 minute flight from Invercargill over to the untouched island of Rakiura. After a southern cheese scroll at The Snuggery cafe, we were taken on a tour of the island learning its history and of course some great event locations & ideas - thanks RealNZ. Back to the Mainland by ferry then transfer from Bluff to Invercargill. Finished the day at the 360 bar and a delicious Asian fusion dining at Meld Restaurant, The Langlands

A fantastic catch up over a stunning breakfast with the RotoruaNZ Business Events team and friends at Parliament this morning.
Rotorua really does have a venue, accommodation, and activities for every event!

A must go place when visiting Invercargill that doubles as a unique place to hold a conference, dinner or special event…Bill Richardson Transport World. An incredible expansive collection of restored classic vehicles makes the perfect backdrop for any event. We dined in a private setting tonight surrounded by taonga!

Discovering Southland as a conference & event destination! Day 1, a visit to Classic Motorcycle Mecca, a sweet treat with sip & paint at Toot Sweets then a guided tour around the city CBD with Senga White Consulting. This region is rich in history and clever people with creative vision!

A fabulous few days at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre with Physiotherapy New Zealand…. but it’s time to head home. Hope everyone made new connections, reacquainted with old friends and thoroughly enjoyed the full programme!
