For S&B, we wanted their invite suite to do more than just share the details - it needed to set the tone for their long-awaited wedding day.

We worked with to create a custom letterpress suite inspired by their stunning Wellington venue and the autumnal styling we’d so carefully refined.

The floral border echoed their ceremony arch at , with that rich burgundy hero tone tying everything together - a perfect match for the dried floral installations on the day.

My favourite detail is the subtle impression of the Wellington coastline running across the bottom, a quiet nod to the view that absolutely stole the show.

Thoughtful, informative, beautiful, and absolutely something they’ll treasure as a keep sake for years to come.

There’s been a little wave of new faces here lately, so I thought it was about time I said hello! 👋

I’m Alicia - founder of Elegant & Wild, lead planner, stylist, and your trusted partner in creating unforgettable weddings.

Originally from the UK (yes, complete with the Northerner accent), I’ve spent over 12 years in the events industry planning everything from bespoke events to large-scale outdoor festivals. I moved to NZ in 2017, and to this day, you'll still occasionally find me in hi-vis, stage managing some of Wellington’s favourites like CubaDupa and Newtown Festival - I just love the buzz of live event delivery. I also moonlight as a Project Manager which means I’m weirdly passionate about budgets, spreadsheets and all things logistics.

Elegant & Wild was born after I had to completely rethink my own wedding during Covid - trading a big UK celebration for a small Queenstown gathering with just our closest friends, the mountains, and a three-day party. Planning, un-planning, and re-planning our day taught me so much about honing in on what really matters - for me, it was including the joy of shared experiences (hello, first-ever helicopter ride), spending quality time with our favourite people, an unreasonable amount of cheese, and simply marrying the love of my life.

Through E&W, I have the privilege of helping couples design wedding days that truly reflect them - whether that means embracing tradition, reimagining it, or doing something completely unexpected. My mission is to help you feel calm, confident, and supported from start to finish - so you can be fully present, soak it all in, and focus on enjoying your engagement and wedding day.

It’s still an incredible honour to be trusted with such a special moment in people’s lives and four years on, that feeling hasn’t worn off.

So whether you’re newly engaged and looking for a planner, knee-deep in logistics and needing a calm head to deliver your day, or just here for the inspiration - I’m so glad you found your way to Elegant & Wild 💚

1 year on from James & Victorias day and I’m still obsessed with what we created 💕 the most fun filled, COLOURFUL celebration ft. a witness raffle, gaming theme tunes, homebrew beer tasting, interactive seating chart, beer pong tournament, cat themed stationary, a chaotic champagne tower, an absolutely heaving dance floor, groom lead karaoke and WILD summer weather.
