The TSB Bank Arena, formerly known as the Queens Wharf Events Centre, is an indoor arena, located in Wellington, New Zealand. The arena hosts mainly basketball games and is the home arena for the Century City Saints and part-time home arena of the New Zealand Breakers when they play in Wellington, but also hosts expositions and conventions like the Armageddon Pulp Expo and the DCM Book Fair. In 20

05, the number of seats was upgraded to 4,570 as part of a redevelopment and expansion plan. There were further plans to carry out upgrades to the Events Centre in 2007 although it is unknown if these plans went ahead. It also operates as a music venue, but does not have ideal acoustics and professional sound treatment; for example, the retractable stadium traps all reflections (early and late) also acting as a bass trap (wanted or unwanted), thus impairing a clear sound, but as a live venue, it is still able attract overseas acts.It is also the home arena for the Richter City Roller Derby which started to play here in the middle of their 2009 season. In 2005, the annual Montana World of WearableArt Awards Show moved from Nelson to Wellington, to the TSB Bank Arena. In a feature article from the 11 April 2007 edition of the Dominion Post, the Wellington Architectural Centre rated TSB Arena as Wellington's 2nd worst building. Also in 2007 the first Māori Art Market was held in the arena before moving to the suburban Te Rauparaha Arena in Porirua City.

POSTPONEMENT NOTICE - Events will now move to 2023. All customers will be contacted by their ticketing platform with information on Tuesday 8th Feb.
We regret to inform you that our Queen ABBA Legends Of Rock & Pop tribute concert tour of New Zealand will now be rescheduled to May 2023. The new dates will be:
7pm Saturday 13th May 2023 Trusts Arena, Auckland
7pm Friday 19th May 2023 TSB Arena, Wellington
Your original tickets are valid for the rescheduled dates. We made this decision a fortnight ago when the New Zealand Government indicated they would keep borders closed, to our international support team, until the end of April. The on-going situation with Omicron is an added headache. We welcome the Government's indication that New Zealand is slowly returning to normal and look forward to visiting, with greater certainty, next year.
We understand this announcement may cause great inconvenience for you, for which we are sincerely sorry. Sadly, these circumstances are beyond our control. To ensure the 2023 events can go ahead, we have employed a New Zealand based support team and cast.
Any refund requests will be processed in line with the Terms & Conditions of Sale. Please contact your ticketing platform for more details. The standing area will now be converted to seating, with all customers assigned a comfortable seat. It has been a very difficult time for the entertainment sector, and we really do appreciate your understanding, support and sticking with us – please accept our heartfelt thanks.
Should you have questions, please email [email protected]
We wish you well for 2022 and look forward to seeing you in 2023.
