Our bridal collection has been designed for brides who delight in simplicity, beautiful fabrics, feminine sillhouettes, and classic details, with a touch of vintage influence. Voon donates $100 from each of our wedding dresses to Empower Asia; a charity which runs safe houses across Asia, providing at risk children a home and education away from the dangers of child prostitution and extreme poverty. Over the New Zealand winter I was lucky enough to spend three wonderful months in Cambodia fulfilling a dream to learn and work in an ethical fashion business .

I spent my time at learning so much about life in Cambodia and what it takes to work with vulnerable women, empowering them through meaningful employment and training.

This was also a time for me reflect on my plans for the future and if this was a path that I could step into.
Lynn, the founder of Morijana, is an inspiring woman and someone who I really connected with so I’m really pleased that she has now asked me to partner with her in a new project!

This means I am saying goodbye to my much loved bridal studio and embarking on a new and exciting adventure.

I will be working alongside Lynn (but still based in New Zealand) to help her launch “The Women’s Collective” .
We will work with other organisations with similar passions to provide a space where vulnerable women are given training to help them find paid employment or start a business.

I will be developing the training program, designing products that the women will learn to make and providing mentoring. We will then be finding markets in which to sell the products and fund the project.

For now though, I am focused on finishing up at my Cuba st bridal studio.
It will be sad to say goodbye, as I have loved designing dresses for all my wonderful brides. A big thank you to you, all, for your support over the years which has allowed me to do what I love.

I will be having a final sample sale on the 23rd and 24th of February… more details to come ❤️
