Basil and Blossom is a Wellington-based event planning business. We specialise in tailoring events and special occasions for children and youth.

For little ones under two, we make sure our performances are captivating.

Our shows are designed to let little ones explore through the senses.

Here are just a few ways we create a magical experience for babies:

🌼We like to perform low at their level and up close.
🌼We sing
🌼Use our hands for actions and movements
🌼 We bring with us sensory toys, scarves and exciting new objects for babies to touch and explore.
🌼 We bring fresh fairy lavender and flowers for little ones to smell.
🌼We are aware of the volume and overstimulation and will change up our show as we go to suit our little audience's needs.

All our shows are personalised. We take into mind all your little one's interest no matter how little they are and create and show that we know they will love.

The Magical Suitcase was created for young children 3 and under.
For little ones, we keep it engaging and fun. We mix original songs and dance into every show. Keeping it light and playful, with small skits and puppets!

We promise that your little one will soon be up dancing and singing along with us or sprinkling magic fairy dust on their new fairy wand!

We understand a lot of you are at home with young children right now and we would like to help out in some little way!

We would like to offer Free Facetime for kids who would like to meet Blossom!
(Can't meet Basil as we are practising social distancing in the fairy kingdom too!)

During our 20-30 min call, we can...

- Meet some of our curious friends (puppets)
- Have a chat and share what we've been up to
- Learn a fun handwashing song
- Tell a story
- Sing songs
- Have a dance!

Please note:
- Facetimes are recommended for kids under 5.
- A good wifi connection is required so that we can all communicate with ease.
- We are doing this as we know it can be tough being at home with little ones, we want to give back to families and our communities, we are not currently running events and birthdays, However, are accepting Koha's from anyone who feels like giving a little to keep the magic alive.

With Covid-19 being on everyone's mind, we are looking at the best possible ways to keep young children and whanau safe.

We've decided to temporarily stop our Party and Entertainment services until further notice.

We apologise for any inconveniences this may cause.
We will let you know as soon as Basil and Blossom are up and flying again!
