The Wellington Independent Music Showcase was born from an idea to bring some of Wellington's finest singer/songwriters and independent artists to an audience that might not he usually get a chance to see them do their thing. By joining these artists and BATS Theatre together, we hope to attract a wide variety of audiences and encourage everyone to get involved by coming to see one or all of these

4 great shows! Add to that the benefit of BATS Theatre's stunning Heyday Dome Stage, a gorgeous seated venue in the heart of Wellington and you have a pretty exciting combination. We'd love to sellout the venue every night and if that happens, it might happen again next year, with another 4 acts, who knows?!
