Bereavement Flowers, soft and foliage heavy for the recipient. This is a Seasonal Bouquet in a vase which is a great option for our men folk, saves them the task of finding a vase when they receive them. Actually it’s a great option for anybody receiving flowers. Sustainable and they get a vessel they can re use multiple times.

Adore this very showy nearly impossible to use dahlia in my cutting bed. She is quite the imposter being in there. The lemon colour is delicious. She needs a lot of support if she is in a vase or you cannot see her at her best as she is incredibly heavy. She gets massive and leaves no room for vase companions, quite the diva. But she is definitely special. I don’t know her name as I think I got this bulb from my friend . In these photos she is small, not nearly full size, but looking luscious 😊

Some loveliness from the garden before the rain set in. It is nearly time according to the moon calendar to start sowing my next round of seed. Today helped delay my impatient nature with the rain. I am keen to get going so I will have early spring goodies🤪. The garden is showing definite signs of Autumn along with the last of the summer hard workers still putting in the mahi. There are still Dahlias that have not even flowered yet. I am hopeful that I will at least see a bloom from them before they put all their efforts into producing tubers for the next season. Here’s to enjoying the change of season 😊

There is something very satisfying about being a gardener and picking your own flowers. It goes to another level when you make bunches and sell them. All flowers are spray free, sustainable and in season. They may not be perfect but they are natural and have their own quirky personality. All flower orders are freshly picked especially for the lucky recipient. The flower bunches provided via Square Wellsford are also freshly picked from the garden and full of personality. Local, fresh, sustainable and at the end of their gorgeousness fully compostable🥰

And that’s a wrap! Valentines Day 2024 done, flowers sold out 🥰. Thank you to those who supported a small local business, to those that picked up bunches directly from , and those who shopped local at Four Square Wellsford. It’s been fantastic! Support for locally grown (Wellsford) flowers and roses grown in Pukekohe has been fantastic. Seasonal blooms really are the best 🥴. Apologies to those I couldn’t help as had sold out, notes for next year to have more blooms 💐
