🚌 Catch the bus to the Fritter Festival!

This year we have booked 5 buses from Matapouri, Mangawhai, Whangarei Heads, Kerikeri & Wellsford to the festival & back.

🏟 All buses are due to arrive at Semenoff Stadium between 11.30am– 12.00pm and will depart Semenoff Stadium from Okara Drive straight after the festival finishes at approximately 8.15pm.

🚌 Route 1: Matapouri to Semenoff Stadium return
Pick up points and departing times: Matapouri dairy 11am, Tutukaka Service Station 11.15am, Ngunguru dairy 11.30am

🚌 Route 2: Whangārei Heads to Semenoff Stadium return
Pick up Points and departing times: McLeods Bay The Deck, Reotahi Rd 11.15am, Parua Bay Tavern Car Park 11.30am, Onerahi Tavern Car Park 11.45am

🚌 Route 3: Mangawhai to Semenoff Stadium return
Pick up points and departing times: Mangawhai 10.30am, departs Waipu Cove dairy 10.50am, Waipu Fire Station, Nova Scotia Drive 11.00am, Ruakaka shops 11.30am

🚌 Route 4: Kerikeri to Semenoff Stadium Return
Pick up points: Kerikeri, Kawakawa, Hikurangi, Kamo (specific pick-up locations and times to be confirmed).

🚌 Route 5: Wellsford to Semenoff Stadium Return
Pick up points: Wellsford, Kaiwaka, Bottom of the Brynderwyns (South) (specific pick up locations and times to be confirmed).

🌟 A Huge Thank You to Pub Charity! 🌟

We are incredibly grateful to Pub Charity for their generous funding, which has been instrumental in helping us achieve significant milestones in enhancing accessibility, safety, and planning at our stadium:

1. Accessibility Improvements: Our stadium now provides an extra eight covered wheelchair spaces, further supporting inclusive access for all.

2. Emergency Response Enhancement: Our existing defibrillator has already proven its life-saving capability. Recognizing the need for enhanced emergency response across our stadium’s layout, we have used this funding to secure two additional defibrillators, significantly improving our ability to respond to medical emergencies for our community and patrons.

3. Event Safety Planning: We have advanced our efforts to refine maximum event capacities and emergency response plans. This work is vital to safeguarding our patrons by preventing overcrowding and ensuring our infrastructure supports safe and efficient egress during both regular and emergency situations.

These achievements reflect our ongoing commitment to improving our stadium’s facilities and ensuring the safety and inclusivity of our community.

Massive news Northland!! On Saturday 5 July 2025, the Māori All Blacks will be taking on Scotland at Semenoff Stadium, marking 25 years since their last clash.

🌟 Family-friendly rugby afternoon:

2️⃣ 3:35pm – Māori All Blacks v Scotland

📣 Exciting news! Semenoff Stadium will host its very first Super Rugby Aupiki game in 2025! On Saturday 29 March, we'll welcome defending champions nib Blues, as they take on Matatū. 🏉

As proud supporters of women’s rugby, we are thrilled the Blues are bringing this incredible game to Northland.

It will be an honour to host these talented athletes, especially in the lead-up to the Women’s Rugby World Cup in England later in the year!
