On Saturday the 23rd I had the honour of conducting the Marriage ceremony for Tanya Alexander and Graham Pulford. Both looked stunning :-)

It was a surprise wedding with most of the guests thinking they were there for an engagement party. A nice relaxed affair

The wedding was held at the newly built Richmond Club. Great venue and very professional staff.

I just came across this on the CANZ website and thought it is very timely to share. I am always willing to have a chat with anyone who is planning a wedding

Are you unsure whether to go ahead with your dream wedding for fear it may have to be cancelled due to the COVID pandemic?

If so, you’re not alone! Many couples have been forced to decide between postponing or even cancelling their wedding, or going ahead with a much smaller ceremony.

While there’s, unfortunately, no easy way to make this decision, and it’s really going to come down to your own personal choice. Here are some things to think about when planning a wedding post-COVID-19.

Keep it small and intimate to fit around the different levels: Level 3 (max 10), Level 2 (Max 50 inside and 100 outside).

Livestream it for those who might not be able to make it due to living overseas, vulnerable or in different lockdown levels.

Keep it local and support local! Have you thought about having it at a local café that needs the support? Keeping it local means you won’t have to cancel bookings in other areas during an Alert level.
Don’t put it off for too long as florists, venues and caterers will get booked up.

Weddings (and other ceremonies) will still go ahead. It is still possible to create an authentic and meaningful wedding ceremony post-COVID-19.

So don’t let the thought of having to change your plans at the last minute put you off planning your dream wedding. Get in touch with CANZ to talk with one of our celebrants about how you to plan a wedding post-COVID-19.
