Hello friends, after being interrupted for several years the festival, this year we are talking with the Provincial Municipality of Arequipa, to restart the prestigious International Guitar Festival that takes place for the anniversary of the White City of Arequipa. The dates would be July 25 and 26 of this year. We will receive the proposals to participate and we will send invitations so that we have the expected success. Greetings.

Hola amigos, luego de ser interrumpido por varios años el festival , este año estamos conversando con la Municipalidad provincial de Arequipa, para reiniciar el prestigioso Festival Internacional de Guitarra que se realiza por el aniversario de la Ciudad Blanca de Arequipa. Las fechas serías el 25 y 26 de julio del presente año. Recibiremos las propuestas para participar y enviaremos invitaciones para que tengamos el éxito esperado. Saludos.

Lamentamos informar que no se ha llegado a acuerdo con la Municipalidad Provincial pra hacer el Festival de Guitarra en Arequipa. Para el proximo año en agosto tendremos festival de todas maneras. Saludos a todos.

XII FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE GUITARRA . AREQUIPA 2015

Con la presencia de la guitarrista Chang Liu, procedente de la Republica ¨Popular China se realizará el XII FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE GUITARRA - AREQUIPA 2015 , evento que se realiza cada año por el aniversario de nuestra Ciudad Blanca y que se llevará a cabo el día de mañana miércoles 12 de agosto a las 7 pm. en la Sala de Reuniones del Pueblo Joven “Villa Quinta” – Paucarpata, (inmediaciones del Balneario de Jesús - carretera a Chiguata).

El Ing. Roberto Pachari, director del festival manifestó que de ésta manera se busca dar continuidad a uno de los eventos culturales más importantes de Latinoamérica que por muchos años ha prestigiado al Perú. Agregó que actuarán también el exótico compositor-guitarrista Arnaldo Córdova por Arequipa , el representante de Puno Folklorista Taita Alfredo Salcedo e invitados locales.
