Over the weekend we were privileged to provide equipment hire for a 70th birthday🎂 party (what a milestone), hosted for a special family member by her family.

We were delighted to be apart of the 50th Hiri Moale Festival Celebrations catering for the Powerhouse of a team Next Of Kin Productions. We provided a range of different dinner options for their back of house team who worked tirelessly into the early hours during the festival.

We had the pleasure for catering for someone that we look up too Molly Rau O'Rourke thank you for choosing Scooby's Shack Catering for your family event.

It's hard trying to manage our growing business with the current situation the country is facing (inflation is real), but it's comments and reviews of family, friends and clients that keep us pushing forward despite the hardships.

This particular job even though small will be remembered by the team as it had us over come, power blacking out that night, gas running out on us, and with the rain that night the team managed to still deliver.

Happy Thursday family and friends!

Today we'd like to give a shout out to Dare2Create , particularly Nadya Parascos -Owner as her and the team from Miss Bird Of Paradise Papua New Guinea prepare to travel out today to Nauru for the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant.

Dare2Create specialises in dance theatre/creative direction and event management and is a long time supporter of our business and we are so grateful for this partnership.With a wealth of experience in both pageant and the creative industry, Nadya travels with our wonderful Miss Bird of Paradise Tyla Singirok as the stage choreographer.

The team will be away for 12 days and we wish Nadya and the team well and a safe journey to the island of Nauru.

Uber Bites

Thank you to all our pioneer "Uber Bites" clients who purchased today.

We didn't sell out today, but we plan to do better next time around.

Out of the 10 remaining lunch packs we gave 7 to our boys in blue hard at work, couldn't take a pic as they had to urgently head out again, but good deed for today.

First "Uber Bites" run and what a great feedback we got, next week Thursday 25th January 2024 the team will be on the road again, keep an eye out for the weekly flyer.

Our Food Delivery Service called "UBER BITES" is now active and I'm pleased to announce our partnership with . Tasol Ltd another SME that provides Uber service here in the nation's capital.

When you purchase from Scooby's Shack Catering you will be helping local business's build and reach goals.

In tough times like this, lets unite and work together, we are excited to get back on the road and we are thankful to the team . Tasol for helping us bridge our transport issues, we have used Uber Service for our corporate orders and because of their reliability we pitched this partnership which they accepted.

Following this post will be our first Uber Bites menu for this Friday 19th January.

Who is Scooby's Shack Catering?
Scooby's Shack Catering is a Catering & Events business that specializes in small to medium sized events.

Who owns SSC?
SSC was founded by both Anthony Aila and Elma V Aila back in 2021 but was formally registered early 2022.

Services we provide?
SSC provides a wide range of catering services, at the end of 2023, with investments in more corporate buffet and sit-down catering cutlery and cookware to cater for up to 100 pax, we also invested in our pop - up sales gear, our events arm which is in charge of all our equipment hire saw us purchase a 10 x 4.3 Marquee, this year we plan to expand our inventory to help cater for the growing demand.

2024 Goals?
We plan to secure long term relationships with large organizations within the nation's capital, also we will strategically plan to reach a wider audience by having our Pop-Up sales team set up at various events and markets throughout the year. Our Uber Bites (Subscription Program) is also being planned out and soon we will announce our first Uber Bites delivery dates for our clients throughout the city.

Back Story of Scooby's Shack Catering!
Scooby's Shack Catering logo is an animated picture of our mascot who is a 4-year-old merle great Dane. We face many struggles just like any other SME that's out there, from cooking with power-based cookware and the blackouts hit, then transfer go lo fire then rain pudown, chopping ingredients with a half broken knife (the stories are endless), but we wouldn't have come this far if it wasn't for Family, Friends, past clients and our current client's. from cooking 20 lunch packs a week in 2021 to fast forward 2023 doing our first corporate buffet catering which covered a 1 week duration.

We look forward to many more years to come as we grow our business to sit it amongst the best in the country.
