LOOKING BACK: In 2014, this business started out with pure passion in arts, crafts and events. The Eventologists was a product of a “go-to & risk-taker” attitude of Marianne, Jeddah, Jaymee & Arra. The team analyzed carefully the event planning industry through research, never-ending exchange of ideas, unstoppable bridal fair visits & series of meetings while juggling to their full- time work. Yes, they had full-time work that time. Thus, they offered limited services during weekends only.

FAST FORWARD: Throughout 5 years, The Eventologists has flourished and now serving the people full time. They have managed various events such as: kiddie parties, birthdays, debut, bridal shower, baby shower, Christmas parties, trainings, seminar-workshops and especially weddings in Laguna (Alaminos, San Pablo, Bay, Calauan, Los Banos, Calamba, Nagcarlan, Liliw), Batangas (Lipa, Tanauan, Rosario, Sto. Tomas & Talisay), Cavite (Tagaytay, Silang & Alfonso), Quezon (Tiaong & Sariaya) and even in Metro Manila areas. They offered full event planning, management & coordination, midway planning & coordination and on-the-day coordination. Other services offered were: venue styling, prenup styling, invitation & souvenir supplies, customized wedding packages and a lot more. The Eventologists has started to make a name in the abovementioned areas already.

AT THE MOMENT: After almost 5 years, The Eventologists is currently expanding their services. They are now renamed as The Eventologists Hub. The hub will serve as the center for event needs & supplies based on the growing demands of the clients. It has five (5) sub-centers such as the following:

The Eventologists (with its new logo) is responsible for the event planning, management, hosting & coordination (Full event packages, customized packages & OTD Coordination service) handled by Event Management Services NC II holder, Jeddahlyn Baria;

Artsy Fartsy Handicrafts is a wide-range collection of affordable invitations, souvenirs, arts & crafts artistically handcrafted by Arra Khrizelda Obispado, Marianne Tonga & Jaymee Anne Flores;

Antipasti e Dolci (Appetizers & Desserts) is a sweet & savory pre/post-program buffet experience that is worth every bite;

Boxed Meals by Chef Abel (Ms. Baria’s husband) is offering crew meals, hotel guest meals & party tray meals for a specific number of people with affordable price yet mouthwatering dishes; and

Weekend Treats & Trails is an online travel agency providing one of the best travel deals both local and international tours handled by Mara Atienza (Arra & Jeddah’s childhood friend).

LOOKING FORWARD: The Eventologists Hub has a positive outlook towards a brighter & growing event industry in the Philippines. Five years is not a joke; the time & effort exerted in this “passion project” will eventually make a mark to the industry.
