The Talan-awon ni Maria Church concluded its three-day celebration for the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes with Living Rosary, candle, and flower offerings.

The Holy Eucharist was presided by Rev. Fr. Timothy Ma. De Belen, MMHC, concelebrated by ten MMHC Priests, and various ministries; together with the faithful, we expressed and united our deep devotion to Our Blessed Mother, Our Lady of Lourdes.

During the homily, Rev. Fr. Timothy Ma. De Belen, MMHC, delivered an uplifting remark about the theme "Mary, Mother of Hope," quoting Pope Francis, he said, "We must fan the flame of hope that has been given us and help everyone to gain new strength and certainty by looking to the future with an open spirit, a trusting heart and far-sighted vision." The three important aspects: an open spirit, a trusting heart, and a far sighted vision, are to be found in the life and faith journey of Our Blessed Mother Mary. These things helped her strengthened her hope in God.

Indeed, our Blessed Mother’s life of hope is worthy of our imitation and salutation to call her our beacon and mother of hope.
