OFFICIAL STATEMENT:

Brilliant Mind Productions (BMP) (a Baganga-based Event Management Team) wishes to clarify recent and inaccurate information circulating regarding its involvement in the Mutya ng Caraga 2024 pageant.

BMP was not initially part of the pageant’s production team. However, due to existing relationships within the entertainment industry, several BMP talents were requested to assist in the production. A total of seven BMP members, including a technical director, visual artist, floor director, two automated score system operators, and two tabulators, were engaged to contribute their expertise to the show.

It is important to clarify that while no formal contract was established between the BMP Team and Gandang Doktorah Events (the pageant organizer), there was a verbal agreement regarding payment terms. Following the pageant, 70% of the agreed-upon compensation was disbursed to the BMP team, with the remaining 30% scheduled for a later date. The team readily agreed to this arrangement. In fact, the automated score systems team received their full payment from BMP while their professional fees are being processed.

We understand that budgetary constraints and processing delays are common occurrences in LGU-organized events. BMP fully comprehends the situation and does not consider these circumstances to be unusual.

We are grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the Mutya ng Caraga 2024 pageant and contribute to its success. BMP strongly condemns the dissemination of false information that could damage the reputation of the LGU.

We believe that open communication and cooperation are essential in resolving any issues that may arise.
