Mayor Benjamin Magalong suspends CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS, in both public and private educational institutions tomorrow, 18 November 2024.

WORK IN GOVERNMENT OFFICES will also be suspended half-day tomorrow from 8 am to 12 noon. Work resumes at 1 pm.

*Except those whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, disaster response, and/or the performance of other vital services.

*Work in all local agencies of national government offices, not otherwise providing critical emergency services shall likewise be suspended subject to clearance from their respective regional/central office.

*The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

*Vehicle number coding is also suspended.

BAGUIO AMONG CLEANEST CITY IN SOUTHEAST ASIA (2024)
Congratulations Baguio!
Baguio is in the list of cleanest cities, Ranked 5th, with the lowest pollution levels in Southeast Asia, according to the 2024 Mid-Year Numbeo Pollution Index.

Baguio was not the only city in the country to gain recognition. Three other Philippine cities – Davao ranked 2nd, Cebu ranked 10th, and Manila ranked 14th. All these three cities made it to the top 16 cleanest cities, highlighting their tremendous efforts in addressing environmental concerns.
