EVENT OF THE MONTH FOR JUNE 2023: INDEPENDENCE DAY AT ARCOVIA :)

Mabuhay! 🇵🇭

We still have a beautiful line-up of events this month, June 2023. In fact, this week alone, we have a birthday party today, a despedida party on Wednesday, and a wedding on Saturday.

But as early as now, I wish to feature our Independence Day Event at Arcovia Mall. After all, EVENT OF THE MONTH (EOTM) is where I pick the (most) unique event that I have handled for a particular month. And celebrating the 125th Anniversary of Philippine Independence and Nationhood with caricature, fireworks, and all is truly special for me and for our team.

And hey, this month, I am allowing myself to post more than twelve photos. 😁

Disclaimer: In all of my contracts, I always include that the event photos are owned by my clients. Unless requested or needed (just like in this case of caricature event), I seldom post photos. After all, I am more on emotions or on how a particular event has changed me. Yep, we have Non-disclosure Agreements (NDAs).

By the way, this post is my special shout out of liberating love to Ms. Jenn, to sir Ronjell, and to the rest of Megaworld Family! 💕

I would also like to commend my event partner, sir Tom. He's truly one of the best on-the-spot caricature artists in the country! 💯

June is a special month for our dear fathers. 💕 But as reiterated last month, there's actually a 1998 presidential decree that moves Mother's Day and Father’s Day to the first Monday of December. But until now, Father’s Day in the Philippines is celebrated by most people on the third Sunday of June.

Like Mother’s Day, Father's Day is kind of a big day here in the Philippines. 💯

Yes, the LORD will fight for us. We only have to be silent.

This Bible Verse made me start my love for making beautiful vases and dainty candles.

Exodus 14:14 instructs us all to be silent.

When we are facing challenges kasi, I've realized that we only need to be still... and to simply focus on the Light.

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, I am your mentor, Meg of Glisten Concepts, and I will teach you not only how to create beautiful art works... but most importantly, we will answer the why's and the what's?

At the end of this session, Southwoods Mall will be giving away these kits and gifts to you... for free.

Plus I will be doing some fun trivia games based on the seminar, and of course, there are prizes from Glisten Concepts to be won here.

So, let me start my story 5,000 years ago...

This was my opening spiel yesterday.

I was the Resource Person for a Southwoods Mall Event on May 13, 2023. In Mom's Creations, fantastic moms were able to showcase their artistry with candle-making and home decor workshops.

The event was so much fun, and I still am having the chills knowing that I was able to impart my love for the arts to many people. Aside from the participants at the ground floor, I saw a lot of people learning from our event on the second and third floors. (I was so focused on making beautiful vases and fragrant candles that I forgot to say "Hi!" to them yesterday. So, please allow me to say now, "I appreciate everyone who took time to watch and listen. Thank you so much po!" ❤️)

By the way, this lively event was made possible by the Megaworld Team especially Ms. Jennifer, and Southwoods Mall Team especially Sir Miko, Sir Jerome, and Ms Jihan.

I would also like to commend Lex Audio for their timely coordination especially with our Audio-Visual Presentation. Shout out of love to Sir Rafael and Ms. Gis for ensuring that everything will be as flawless as it should be! 💯

Special thanks to Organization President Ems Raz for providing free meals and drinks to all our participants. 💓💓

Kudos also to all the beautiful members of San Francisco Ladies Organization! 👏👏

It was, indeed, a very Happy Mother's Day event at ! 🌸❤️👑

Libreng Seminars Para Sa Mga Ina, Inihandog Ng Southwoods Mall

Bilang pagkilala sa kadakilaan ng mga ina, ang Southwoods Mall ng Binan City ay nagbigay ng libreng seminar-workshop sa paggawa ng mababangong kandila at magagandang vases. Ito ay ibinigay ng libre para sa mga ina noong ika-13 ng Mayo 2023 sa mismong Atrium ng nasabing mall.

Dito naipakita ng mga kababaihan ang kani-kanilang mga talento sa paggawa ng makukulay na kandila. Sinundan agad ito ng pagtuturo nina Bb. Angel Meg, Ginoong Rafael de Leon, at Bb. Gisel Gabito ng paggawa ng recycled vases.

Napakahalaga na matuto ang mga kababaihan ng paggawa ng kandila sapagkat ito ay isa ring mainam na pagkakakitaan. Gayundin naman ang paggawa ng dekorasyon mula sa recycled na bote. Malaking tulong ito para mabawasan ang polusyon na sumisira sa ganda ng ating Inang Kalikasan.

Tunay na tuwang-tuwa ang mga kalahok sa ipinamigay na mga regalo, sertipiko, at bagong kaalaman.

Si Pangulong Emy Raz at mga kasamahan niyang officers ng San Francisco Ladies Organization ang naging punong-abala sa pamimigay ng libreng pagkain at inumin sa lahat ng dumalo.

Ang naturang maligayang kaganapan ay handog ng Megaworld Corporation. Tunay nga namang naging maligayang araw ito para sa mga Ilaw Ng Tahanan!

At the beginning, I was not keen on keeping testimonials from our wonderful clients. The beautiful memories, for me, were enough.

So, when the client leaves a simple note like this thanking our team, Glisten Concepts, for a job well done, it's just extra or a sweet bonus.

Btw, I usually read the client's sweet message aloud after the event for everyone on my team to hear. 99% of the time, we're just ecstatic! Then, we will celebrate at a nearby fun videoke or posh resto. 🤩
