When you see the word “Front liners”, we automatically think straight away of people working in the Medical fields. Either you are a Doctor, Nurse, Paramedics, Pathologists and so on, it’s automatically directing you to an image of a person busy and helplessly working with a sick or injured individuals. Most probably in this case, people working in Health care settings are the front liners. As soldiers to a war or Police to a fight and Firemen to a fire, they are called frontliners. All depending in a situation. But today, it is someone who works in the Hospital and health care settings. My respect goes to these people especially at this radical and difficult time. No doubt they are our “Modern Day Hero” and we must at all times remember what they have done to sacrifice and go to work, do their duties and putting their life on the line just to save another persons life. We are so proud of you!

With regards to the image I’ve posted. It is very obvious what it stands for. Doctors, Nurses, Police, Paramedics and other health care workers are always given shout outs and recognition for their jobs. I know they truly deserve it and I am not against it. As a matter of fact, they are my modern day hero. But hey, let’s not forget the facts that in every hospital, health care centres and all establishments in this world, there are people who are also behind the scenes. And at this difficult time, like Doctors and Nurses reporting for duty, this individuals also need to go to work everyday and perform their job. Duties that requires extra care especially at this time. And I call on to every single person/individual who works in the House-keeping, maintenance, cleaning or Janitorial services to be proud of themselves and their job because I firmly believe that you are also front liners in this battle.

Without some people knowing, this people who works in this area are also at the risk of getting infected. Without proper tools, pratices and equipments, the risk of contamination to hazardous materials and goods can put their lives at risk. And in this difficult time, each hospitals, health centers and all establishments have great demands for this workers to maintain cleanliness, safety and health to all individuals working in an area. Exposures to materials being used in hospitals, spills of bloods and other toxic agents can be dangerous to them if proper equipments and handling is not used. While everyone is so busy saving lives, these workers(hospital setting) are so too in that corner waiting for all toxic and non-toxic materials to be put out. Changing each beds, taking out the trash/garbage and making sure that areas are cleaned and disinfected.

Come to think of it if no one like them do the job. How can a hospital survive too without these people. How can you maintain a smooth flowing operation if everything is not in place; If no one cleans, disinfects and takes the garbage out.Surely it will be a place of chaos. Surely more and more people will get infected.

Effective housekeeping can help control and even eliminate potential workplace hazards to ensure safety throughout the working day. And in saying this, we all have this people to thank for. I am with you. I know you are scared too and sacrifice your life to report to work and just do the job even when it means exposing yourselves to danger. But like everyone else, we are all in this together. Doctors or not, every job is equally important especially those who are involved in this health crisis we are facing right now. And we would like to THANK YOU as well for maintaining our work place the way it should be. Free from hazard and dangers. Your efforts are recognised. Keep your spirits high because you’re doing a decent job. Keep yourself safe and use the right tools and equipments. Know that we are watching you and how you do your job in this difficult time. Thank you for keeping our work place a safe place. God bless you and stay positive especially at this time🙏🏼❤️
