Happy New Year everyone, may 2024 be better for you all!
PS if you haven't already signed this please sign and share the following petition, plenty of BRITISH citizens need help with this one, the government is attempting to put a price tag on love, under the guise that love should not be at 'the expense of the tax payer's except that spouse visas specifically exclude those on spouse visas from claiming ANY benefits, and already have to pay a huge amount, up front ( approx £2500 for 2 years to the NHS and £1500 in application fees).
Currently the financial requirements to bring your spouse to the UK is £18,600 per year and now the Government wants to more than double it. Most people in the UK don’t make that per year. We believe this policy punishes those who fall in love with someone with a different nationality.
