Skankin Brews formed in 2003, as a college school for the purpose to compete in National college band competition. Winning grand champion pave way for great opportunities for the group. They produce lover's Reggae sound mixed with roots and ska giving the Island feel. After a decade in 2013, the group released their first album "Give a little Aloha" with their hit song "Feeling Easy". They album toured the big island Cebu and Manila making a mark in the local reggae scene. Skankin Brews still skankin with a few original members and new ones until today🤙🔉🎤

"BROWNSKIN RIDDIM"

The band started in 2015 in Cebu City Philippines, the four member(4) of Brownskin Riddim 'Gino Chavez as a founder & band leader ,Cristito,Juri "Ska Holic" and Rodmil Chavez "SoyJah" were struggling to make the initiatives in introducing the band to the public to intensity the Rythm of the music, Cris a Former Vox of the band due to some personal reason and they invited James "Carlo Russi" for the new Front Man and then came bryan alipar, mark alcano,rixon, jason "sona bayno" and Kerish Sax to continue for this band🤙🔉🎤

In some minor event invitations by the time,they started out playing cover songs from Bob marley, Mike love, Tribal Seeds, Damian Marley, which are also some of their music influence also have Hit single own composition " NATURAL" and Collaboration with DewGang title " Kagawasan"😎

Dedication and Strong Companionship in the group are the main elements that made BROWNSKIN RIDDIM journey on the right track for more achievements in the future❤️💛💚

Paul Marie started performing as a soloist at the age of 17 yrs old; She used to play in the soul and Reggae genre. One of her mentor was Rheno Gong, the former vocalist of New Zion. She started her gig anywhere in Lapu-lapu city as well as in Cebu areas. She really loves to play the drums, keyboard, bass, ukulele and also guitar. Now, music takes her everywhere she wants to go. CoolieDread got his start performing by drumming for HERBS and they released their eponymous album in 2002. As a professional film sound engineer, it comes as no surprise that producing music drew his interest and after HERBS disbanded in 2005, he formed CoolieDread and the Microphone Commanders (CDMC) a dancehall reggae dj group that later on became a full band. Championed the 2006 Motorola Rock’moto contest they toured heavily around the country after releasing their album "Water For Your Soul" on 2007. On 2009 brought an invitation to join Jr. Kilat as their touring/sampling DJ. CoolieDread’s personally produced tracks and beats meshed well with Jr. Kilat’s sound. Soon after SigbinHaus SoundSystem appeared joining these musical artists together with Budoy as one sound in festivals. Represented the Philippines in Shanghai World Expo 2010.

Currently CoolieDread produces music for Skank and Groove Records to develop new artists and introduce veteran and new musicians to other parts of the Philippines, areas bereft of the joy that only reggae can deliver📢🔈🔉🔉
