KOREAN TRADITIONAL PERFORMANCE GROUP WILL BE BACK IN CEBU FOR SINULOG SA SUGBO PHILIPPINES 2024
C&G Korean Traditional Performance Group is a combined performance team of two cities in Korea, the cities of Chuncheon and Gonju.
These two teams have different Nongak techniques. Nongak in Korea is a labor music that has been used since the Goryeo Dynasty when farmers worked on agricultural land. A genre of traditional Korean music that has a military character that soldiers advise and retreat, or is used strategically.
In a broad sense, it refers to music that plays percussion instruments of kkwaenggwari, gong, janggu, taepyeongso, drum, and sogo and performs marching, rituals, labor, and Rannori.
