HEADS UP, TRAVELERS!

The Philippine Airlines urged travelers to arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) at least three hours before their domestic flights or at least four hours before their international flights due to heavy traffic congestion at the NAIAX Skyway exit ramps.

"The NAIAX Skyway has implemented a new toll booth set-up at the Skyway exits. Please allocate extra time in going to the airport to ensure that you will make it in time for your flight," Philippine Airlines said in an advisory on Thursday.

NAME CORRECTION POLICY

Effective 01 October 2023, Philippine Airlines will allow travel agencies to reissue tickets due to name correction.

As a general policy, the transfer of name to another person’s name is not allowed. However, we shall allow name correction for Travel Agency reissuance with a fee for the following cases:
1. To correct spelling, add or delete two (2) missing letters of the passenger’s surname or first name.
2. To add Maria or Ma to the first name.
3. Transposition of the foreign name of the passenger provided all names are included.
4. To correct gender.

Note: Applicable to 079 documents on PR routes only. Applicable to all GDS except for Infini.

For the below cases, reissuance must be created through the PAL Direct Channel (PR contact center or ticket offices):
5. To correct maiden name to married name
6. Passenger preference to use other names, only if specified in the passport with A.K.A.

For all other changes not mentioned above, the change fee as specified in the fare rules shall apply.

Philippine Airlines has announced the resumption of flights to Cotabato City, with services set to recommence on October 1, 2023. The decision comes following the successful completion of repair work on the runway at Cotabato's Awang Airport.
The domestic flight schedule to Cotabato City will include the following routes:
PR 2959/2960 (Daily): Manila – Cotabato – Manila
PR 2223/2224 (Monday & Thursday): Cebu – Cotabato – Cebu
PR 2487/2488 (Monday & Thursday): Cotabato – Tawi-Tawi – Cotobato

Effective October 8, 2021, all flights to and from Legazpi (LGP) will land and depart at the newly inaugurated Bicol International Airport (BIA) located at Alobo, Daraga, Albay.

The Airport will replace the Old Legazpi City Domestic Airport.
