Becoming Ice goes to Davao

Becoming Ice is Ice (Aiza) Seguerra's concert that commemorates his 35-year journey in the Philippine entertainment industry.

First appearing as a three-year-old tyke in Eat Bulaga after winning EB's Little Miss Philippines in 1987, Ice has appeared in more than 30 movies and TV shows. Perhaps his most popular role is in the long-running sitcom "Ok Ka Fairy Ko." portraying Vic Sotto's cute precocious daughter.

In his late teens, Ice pursued a career in music. One of his biggest hits is the multiple platinum hit "Pagdating ng Panahon" released in 2001. In 2012 Ice mounted his 25th showbiz anniversary concert in Araneta Coliseum.

Becoming Ice had a successful run at Solaire Resort (held in October 2022) and in Waterfront Cebu (Feb. 2023), the third staging of the concert will be held this April 28 at the SMX Convention Center Davao.

"I'm very, very excited to bring this show here to Davao because it's a special show for me, it's a personal show and I want it to share to Dabawenyos," Ice Seguerra said in an earlier interview.

For her Davao show Ice says to expect the unexpected.

"I'm sure most of you will hear of Ice Seguerra it's synonymous to acoustic music only siguro with Becoming Ice we're trying to show in my 35 years in the industry I did so many things and we will showcase that here," Ice says.

Ice will be joined by Frenchie Dy, Lo**ta Carbon, Cooky Chua, Bayang Barrios, Mike Villegas, Joey Ayala, Sylvia Sanchez, Lady Morgana, Mebuyan, Davao City's pride Juris Fernandez and other surprise guests.

The show is produced by Fire and Ice Productions founded by Ice and his wife Liza Diño. The company aims to bring world-class quality entertainment that highlights Filipino artistry and creativity.
