"Ecumenism is searching for a certain unity at the expense of faith. How is it? If you want to be united with non-Catholics, if you want to please non-Catholics, the best way is to take their ideas, to take non-Catholic ideas. These are the Catholics who do not want to deny any dogma of our faith, but they do not dare to profess the Catholic Faith when they should. They put their light under a bushel and they are silent; they seem ashamed of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

In the new rite of the Mass (Novus Ordo) in Latin as it has been officially published, clear professions of the Catholic Faith that were in the traditional Mass have often been taken out. Let us take just one example in the Canon of the New Mass: the Signs of the Cross have been reduced from 25 to 2! The names of the saints are optional, and, in the Consecration itself there have been three changes, even in the first Canon.

First, the words "Mysterium Fidei," which are not in the Bible have been taken away. Why? Because Protestants said "Bible alone," [sola scriptura—Ed.] so if these words are not in the Bible, they do not want them in the Consecration. Thus they have put it outside the Consecration, disregarding the practice of all the saints of the Roman Rite who have used these words for hundreds and hundreds of years; most probably even St. Peter used these words and even Our Lord Himself. That it is not written in the Gospel does not mean that Our Lord has not said it. Many things are not written in the holy Gospels! With what authority do some members of the Consilium take away words from the Consecration, which is the most sacred and venerable part of the Liturgy?

Secondly, they have introduced the words "quod pro vobis tradetur—which shall be delivered for you," in the Consecration of the Body of Our Lord. These words are in the Gospel and precisely because they are in the Gospel, they said, "You must put all that is in the Gospel," according to the same Protestant principle. St. Peter and the Church never judged that it was not necessary to put it in; they had a reason not to put it because "to be delivered" means the sacrifice and the Sacrifice of the Mass is by the separate consecration. The first consecration is not sufficient to have the Sacrifice of the Mass, but when you have both the Consecration of the Body and the Consecration of the Blood of Our Lord, then you have the Sacrifice of the Mass. So they introduced these words—again to please the Protestants.

Thirdly, the first genuflection, the one right after the priest pronounces the words of Consecration, has been taken out, leaving only the genuflection after the priest has shown the Body and Blood of Christ to the faithful for their adoration. The first genuflection was a clear profession of faith that the consecration is performed by the power of the priest that he received at his ordination. The Body and Blood of Christ are present by the very power of the priest when he says the words of Consecration. Protestants refuse that dogma, while they are not so opposed to the second made after the general "approval" of the congregation; and thus this first genuflection was taken away.

Other examples could be taken from the Offertory, where the New Mass suppressed the beautiful prayer, Suscipe Sancte Pater:

"𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒊𝒗𝒆, 𝑶 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒚 𝑭𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝒂𝒍𝒎𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑮𝒐𝒅, 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝑰𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑽𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒎 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝑰, 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒚 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒕, 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓 𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒆, 𝒎𝒚 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒆, 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒚 𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒖𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒔, 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒏𝒆𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝒂𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒔𝒐 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒅, 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒃𝒆 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒚 𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈."

You have three points of Faith in this little prayer that are denied by the Protestants: that the Mass is the true Sacrifice of a Victim, the fact that it is a propitiatory sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins and the fact that you can help even the dead. So that prayer was suppressed in the New Mass.

All these suppressions are a lack of a profession of Faith. If there is a moment when we ought to profess our faith in the Sacrifice of the Mass, in the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, in the power of the priesthood, it is during the Mass itself! To hide our faith during these holy moments is done in order to please the Protestants, without counting all the scandals that have been added afterwards."

Dear Faithful,

Given the fact that there is a pressing need for doctrinal instruction on the error of Sedevacantism, below is a link to a Short Catechism on Sedevacantism:
http://archives.sspx.org/miscellaneous/sedevacantism/little_catechism_on_sedevacantism.htm

And below is a link to an article on the nature and history of Sedevacantism. It is interesting to know how this error has afflicted the Catholic Church even in the past and how Our Lord preserved Her from it.
https://sspx.org/en/sedevacantism-catholic

May Our Lord, Our Blessed Lady, and St. Joseph, Patron of the Church, “… preserve us from all error and corruption” specially in these trying times in the history of the true Spouse of Christ.

The Four Last Things (Benziger 1899 Edition)

It has ever been the practice of the Catholic Church to recommend to her spiritual children the meditation on man's Four Last Things - death, Judgment, Heaven and Hell. Keeping these sobering aspects of human destiny ever before our eyes, we will be that much less likely to fall into mortal sin and be lost eternally. Gives many facts we should meditate on as we contemplate death. This book has converted numerous Protestants in our day because of its cogent reasons for rectifying our lives.

A historic event of faith and hope was held on the occasion of the opening of the Holy Week in the City of the two UNESCO Sites, in Monte Sant ' Angelo. The "Blessing to the City and the World" with the sword of the Archangel Michael.

In his Sanctuary, in fact, included in the List of Goods protected by UNESCO, Rector Father Ladislaus Sucky and Micheliti Fathers celebrated on the occasion of Palm Sunday a mystical rite to invoke the protection of the Archangel over the city, on the world.

The Blessed Sacrament, the sword of Saint Michael Archangel and the Crystal Cross the three symbols with which the four cardinal points were blessed.

At the end of the rites in the Cave, in the upper atrium, in a suggestive and lonely atmosphere, the deafening silence of these difficult days was interrupted only by the wind, by the sound of bells, prayers.

The sword of the sword is a unique rite: the sword of the Archangel Michael, in fact, comes out of the Cave once a year, in procession on September 29, on the occasion of the feast of the patron saint.
In addition to the sword, the Reliquary Cross - in whose center is nestled a piece of the Cross of Christ - which is said to have been donated by Emperor Frederick II returning from his Crusade, in 1228.

An event that brings us back to 1656 when Archangel Michael freed the city from the plague. It was his fourth appearance on Mount Gargano, when Bishop Giovanni Alfonso Puccinelli entrusted him a plea on behalf of the city.

The City turned to its patron saint through the words of its mayor, Pierpaolo d ' Arienzo: " Archangel Michael, it is a city that kneels before you through my knees; it is a city that lifts towards I look at you through my eyes; it's a city that prays you today through my voice. Just like in 1656, today we walked through the iron gate, crossed the stone courtyard, and descended the 86 steps, coming to search in the heart of the Sacred Mountain. Accept our prayer, defend with your sword our city, our country from this pandemic. Protect this people today as then. Give him the strength to stick together in front of this terrible emergency. Protect those women and men who held Italy by trying to ferry it across the tunnel. We beg you Archangel Michael to give us the strength to build a normality where health matters more than weapons, worker s' guarantees matter more than profit, family, i.e. the people with whom we decided to share our lives, whatever age they are , you count more than anything. May this prayer of ours be a song that rises straight to God ".

An exceptional and exciting event held behind closed doors and streamed in which tens of thousands of people took part, sign of an event that unites, going far beyond faith, and will surely remain forever in the history of this territory.

|Memoirs of An Anti-Apostle|

Absorbing and compelling reading from beginning to end, AA -1025 Memoirs of an Anti-Apostle is a must read for every Catholic today and for all who would understand just what has happened to the Catholic Church since the 1960 s. In the 1960's, a French nurse, Marie Carre, attended an auto-crash victim who was brought into her hospital in a city she purposely does not name. The man lingered there near death for a few hours and then died. He had no identification on him, but he had a briefcase in which there was a set of quasi-autobiographical notes. She kept these notes and read them, and because of their extraordinary content, decided to publish them. The result is this little book, AA-1025 Memoirs of the Communist Infiltration Into the Church, a strange and fascinating account of a Communist who purposely entered the Catholic priesthood along with many others, with the intent to subvert and destroy the Church from within. His strange yet fascinating and illuminating set of biographical notes, tells of his commission to enter the priesthood, his experiences in the seminary, and the means and methods he used and promoted to help effect from within the auto-dissolution of the Catholic Church. No one will read this book without a profound assent that something just like what is describer here must surely have happened on a wide scale in order to have disrupted the life of the Catholic Church so dramatically.

The Glories of Mary by St. Alphonsus Liguori
(FREE download link below)

The great Doctor of the Church, St. Alphonsus Liguori, has assembled here the very finest information about Our Lady, taken from the many writings of the Saints, holy authors, and from Sacred Scripture.

The Glories of Mary is five complete books in one volume. The first book explains the words of the Salve Regina, shows how God has given Mary to mankind to be the Gate of Heaven. The second book explains Our Lady s principal feasts and reveals to the reader s mind fresh truths about these mysteries. The third book explains the Seven Sorrows of Mary and shows why Our Lady s martyrdom was longer and greater than that of all other martyrs. The fourth book describes ten different virtues of Our Lady, and the fifth book gives dozens of famous prayers, meditations and devotions to her.

Included are the theological proofs for the Immaculate Conception, explanations of the invocations in the Litany of Loreto, and a description of Our Lady s death. The Glories of Mary is the greatest compendium of nearly 18 centuries of teaching on Our Lady, and will lead many souls to a greater love of Jesus through a more intimate knowledge of Mary and her exalted role in our salvation.

An Open Letter to Confused Catholics

The Archbishop's wide experience makes his analysis an authoritative one. His writing has also a quality that may be unexpected, for all who have only heard about him - it is so eminently reasonable. If he is a "rebel;" (as we never cease being told!), he is an uncommonly calm and courteous one. If this comes as a surprise, it is because he has been given little opportunity to make himself known. He has been conveniently buried in silence, except when quoted as an example of obstinate backwardness, by all who are embarrassed by the accusations he makes, or simply the positions he adopts. In view of this, the publishing of this book is a belated act of justice.

The Tragedy of Calvary (1905 Second Edition)

or the Minute Details of Christ's Life From Palm Sunday Morning Till the Resurrection and Ascension taken from Prophecy, History, Revelations and Ancient Writings.

The sufferings and death of Christ transcend all events of human history. The Tragedy of Calvary has reformed the world. The God-Man's blood changed mankind in the past, still works its miracles in men's hearts, and will continue its wonders till it draws all eyes to that Victim hanging as the Standard of the Nations.

With rapid pens, and simplest style, Gospel writers tell the story without going into details. But we would like to know the most minute events which happened when he died. But his history was written before he came. In the Old Testament, he rises from almost every page. He is found in names of men and places, in Temple ceremonies, in feasts of Israel, and in Hebrew customs, while Patriarch, Prophet, Seer, Sage and King foretold his kingdom, his coming, his life, his sufferings, his death, resurrection and ascension, but in such a way that no one studying him before his birth, could have told to whom these wonderful prophecies pointed, for if they knew they would not have put their Messiah to death.

In the Gospels, in histories of the time when he walked the earth, in writings of the early Church, and among the Orientals, we find a wealth of details relating to Him. But never before were all these completely given in one work.

To combine all known about Christ in one complete story, we read the Lives of Christ in different languages, Jewish literature, histories of his time, revelations of the Saints, prophets of Jew and Gentile, searched the great libraries of this country, British and Vatican Museums, and visited the Holy Land, seeking information of the Victim of the world's sins.

The Art of Dying Well by St. Robert Bellarmine
(see our download link below)

Bellarmine believed there was a particular “art” in dying well, allowing us to truly “rest in peace.”

As much as we may try to avoid or “cheat” death, prolonging our lives as much as possible, death will come knocking at our door soon enough. It is inescapable in this world and so the question is not if we will die, but how we will die.
Death is something that can come to us unexpectedly, but that does not mean that we can’t prepare for it. Many of the saints tried to live every day as if it were their last, and prepared for death daily. For them, death was always around the corner and they welcomed it with open arms.

In a similar vein of thought, St. Robert Bellarmine wrote a book in 1619 on the Art of Dying Well. He details what he believed to be the key to preparing for death, not only when death is imminent, but most importantly when we are in good health.

Bellarmine reiterated a popular phrase that has been passed down throughout the centuries: "He who lives well, will die well."

How can you stop your heart from singing the praises of the One who is beauty itself?

The Kyriale (see our download link below)

The Kyriale is a collection of Gregorian chant settings for the Ordinary of the Mass. It contains eighteen Masses (each consisting of the Kyrie, Gloria [excluded from Masses intended for weekdays/ferias and Sundays in Advent and Lent], Sanctus, and Agnus Dei), six Credos, and several ad libitum chants. This collection is included in liturgical books such as the Graduale Romanum and Liber Usualis, and it is also published as a separate book by the monks of Solesmes Abbey.

In the Kyriale, the individual chants of the Ordinary are grouped into complete sets, whose title usually indicates the opening of the prosula formerly sung to each respective Kyrie melody.
