Hello, loves!

I think one of the most challenging part in being a new supplier in the Events Industry is that it's hard for clients to trust your service, when you only got zero to one page review. So... I decided to share a few stuff about me so you can get to know me as the owner of Events by Ivy & Co. 😊

Hi, Im Ivy Delos Reyes, I own and manage this page. Hindi ako sure, pero I love organizing things for other people. 😂 I used to coordinate and book all our college group's trips before. I'm a ✨Monica ✨, if you know what I mean.

It was year 2016 when I started to work as a freelance wedding coordinator. I also worked full time for almost two years as a Corporate Events Planner in BGC, Taguig. I've handled 30-60 events before in a month, so I I'm pretty sure I can handle stress well. I love dogs, I laugh at memes, and I work hard in the hopes that someday I will create a brand for my name. 🤞🏻

Ayun lang, so share ko na lang din tong photo ko na to. This photo was taken in year 2018 during our quick break, when I was working and assisting Ms. Tonette and Sir Michael in their prenup shoot at Fort Canning Park, Singapore. One for the books. 🌸

When love rains, it pours ☔️💖

"Here's our one and only photo taken by our photographer during the ceremony," bride Guerlain candidly shared with Wedding Kultura.

And as the said photo popped on our screen, we felt the same lump in the throat as when we first saw it circulating hours ago.

This really was a beautiful, not-your-everyday wedding. Every bride fears rain on her wedding day but this bride ended up literally soaking wet during the ceremony. But she remained unfazed.

Guerlain and Carl met at their workplace in 2018. It did not take long for the friendship to turn into courtship and then eventually engagement. Like any couple, they dreamed of their wedding to be bright and sunny, to be simply perfect. But heaven must have had other plans for them that day as rain poured heavily on their picturesque outdoor ceremony.

Nevertheless, instead of stopping everything and moving under a shade, the couple looked around to see their guests cheering them on, "Tuloy ang kasal. Wag natin iiwan ang couple."

This photo perfectly captured the shower of love this couple felt on their special day. When asked what she was thinking at this moment while being in the arms of her now-husband, the bride heartwarmingly answered, "That moment, I felt joy in my heart knowing na nakaraos na po kami sa seremonya. It was very surreal po talaga and parang lumulutang po ako sa ulap. Parang nasa movie po ako. I was crying hard because of the overflowing joy and love from everyone and of course from the Lord. My husband embracing me was the most comforting feeling na sinasabi niya na ok lang yan, mahalaga tayong dalawa. Kaya po mas lalu ako naiyak."

It really is like a scene from a movie. But it's a reality for this couple. And for the rest of us? It's a reminder of being able to appreciate the people who surround us with love, of choosing the person who will make things better amid a storm, and of how things will always make sense even when they don't go the way we planned.
