Leonardo “Nards” Bataller is a fashion designer in the Philippines. He began his professional career in Manila in 1986 and grab the opportunity as fashion consultant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. For five years, he joined the group of designers namely Andre Angeles, Tata Flores and Lowell Plameras, all well-known designers in Manila. They were employed by Samir Basahel in Jeddah and worked in a famous

couture house in Jeddah named Fancy Couture and Embroidery where Nards was one of the fashion designers. He went back to Manila during the Iraq- Kuwait Gulf War in 1991 for a year and went back to Jeddah in November 9, 1992. He then worked as a Fashion Consultant and decorative artist with the Al Mosleh organization, owned by Abdullah Mosleh. After twenty-two years of service, Nards finally decided to go back to the Philippines to put up his own Fashion Design business.
