When Plans Don’t Go Your Way

Have you ever planned your day, only for things to turn out differently—sometimes in ways you didn’t expect? Maybe you got sick, facing a last-minute change at work or receiving unexpected news?

It can be frustrating, right? We think we know what’s best, but life has a way of surprising us.

Here’s the good news: when our plans don’t work out, God’s plan is still at work. Those delays or changes might be His way of leading us to something better—even if we don’t see it yet.

So, when things don’t go as planned, take a moment to trust that everything happens for a reason.

Do you want to succeed in life and make good choices? The Bible gives us a clear guide:

"Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."
—Joshua 1:8

When we truly delight in God, it’s not just about Him granting our wishes. Instead, He plants His desires in our hearts—aligning our dreams and passions with His perfect will.

How does God plant desires in our hearts?
❤️By drawing us closer to Him in prayer and worship.
❤️By helping us love what He loves and want what
He wants.
❤️By filling us with His purpose and leading us to His
best plans.

When we find joy in His presence and trust His ways, the desires He places in our hearts will lead to fulfillment and peace.

Let Him work in you today—He knows exactly what you need!

𝙄𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙤 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚, 𝙢𝙖𝙮𝙗𝙚 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙤𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚.

Sometimes, the routines and habits we’re comfortable with are the very things holding us back.

True success often begins with small, intentional steps in the right direction. Ask yourself: What change can I make today to move closer to true success?

It’s great to be content, but life becomes even better when we keep dreaming and improving.

Don’t stop reaching for bigger goals and making the most of what you have. And if you think you haven’t set goals for yourself yet, remember—you have a new day to start again.

Your soul is the real you—your connection to God and what lasts forever. Money, possessions, and achievements are only temporary. They won’t matter when this life is over.

The Bible says:
"What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet lose their soul?" – Mark 8:36

Real success isn’t about how much you have but how you live your life with God’s purpose. God wants to prosper you, but it’s not just about material things. True prosperity comes when you align your life with His plans and purpose for you.

Don’t let the world distract you. Take care of your soul. Stay close to God, trust His guidance, and focus on what truly matters.

Stop comparing yourself to others—what you have or don’t have. Success is personal. It’s about living your life with purpose and growth.

𝘼𝙨𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛: 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪? Is it helping your family or others? Serving your community or church? Starting your own business? Owning a home, big or small? Building investments or savings? Traveling the world? Being the best in your workplace? 𝗕𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆.
