"Alam kong mali na... pero di ko kayang bumitaw..."

Tila isang konsyerto ang ginanap sa loob ng Br. Norman Roy Gymnasium noong mga oras na ito. Napuno ng hiyawan ang lugar habang sinisigaw nila ang nararamdaman ng kanilang mga puso.

"Ika'y masasaktan dahil pangako ko'y walang iwanan..."

Isa lamang itong musikahan; isang napakaikling sandali para magpakitang gilas ang mga mag-aaral sa harap ng kanilang mga kapwa Marista, pero di natin inasahan na ito muna pala ang huling pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika na harap-harapang gagawin sapagkat dumating ang pandemya sa sumunod na taon.

Ngunit ngayong taon, tayo'y nagbabalik! Sana'y nasiyahan kayo sa simpleng pagdiriwang natin ng Buwan ng Wika.

Kuha ang litratong ito circa Agosto 2019.

Huwag natin kalimutan ang taos-pusong pagbibigay-pugay sa mga dakilang 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢 ng ating bansa sapagkat inalay nila ang kanilang 𝒃𝒖𝒉𝒂𝒚, 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒐, 𝒂𝒕 𝒍𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒔 para sa kalayaan at kaunlaran ng ating bansa. Sa kanilang 𝒌𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝒍𝒖𝒃𝒐𝒔 𝒏𝒂 𝒑𝒂𝒈𝒎𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒍 sa ating bayan, tayo’y napukaw na ipaglaban ang ating pambansang Karapatan at dangal. Magsilbing 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒔𝒚𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒎𝒃𝒂𝒘𝒂 sila sa ating mga pagkilos tungo sa mas makatarungan at mas mapayapang kinabukasan.

"You take a deep breath and you walk through the doors; it's the morning of your very first day.

You say hi to your friends you ain't seen in a while."

It's midnight, and we begin being nostalgic about one of our "firsts." This is an entry coming from a solid circle of friends whose other members eventually became part of the CineMarista club. Just as what you all did during the first week of classes, they also did the same thing, posing to the camera, showing off their smiles as they were excited to start the new school year.
