Speaker for the photography is the talented geek photographer Jay Tablante Photography who is also one of the Canon Ambassadors in the Philippines!

Growing up a geek, it was his love for comics, anime and pop-culture that made an indelible mark on his
photography. Collaborating with industry friends of make-up artists, stylists, production designers, art
directors, and digital imagers, he sought out to blur the lines between comics and real life. The result is
straight out from a fan boy’s fantasy.

Ever since, he has exhibited in art galleries, guested in regional pop culture conventions, and has paneled twice on cosplay photography in San Diego Comic Con.
This 2023 marks his twenty (20) years of shooting in the industry and within that, fifteen (15) years shooting cosplay.

Wherever his passions take him, Jay would always be just the geek with a camera.

Changes to the program.

The WCS Luzon Regional qualifiers will be on April 30, 2023 . The winning team will represent the region for the 2025 National qualifiers.

Pop Culture Hiroshima competitions will remain the same. The winner of the Nationals will represent the country in Hiroshima, Japan on 2024

The Houseof Briar is sponsoring the prizes for each regional winners. Make the region proud!
