Hi everyone, it’s been a while. I hope you and your loved ones are all safe. I'm writing to share a piece of my life with you — today marks 4 months since my dad passed away.

I remember creating the flower piece for his memorial thinking ‘Is this even real?’, ‘Lord, how do we move forward?’. So many thoughts ran through my mind. But eventually it led me to this: ‘I’m gonna keep moving forward for you, dad’.

I have accepted the fact that the pain & sadness will never go away. And that’s okay. It serves as a reminder of the love that he imparted in me, and the unexpressed love & gratitude I’ll always have for him.

I stay thankful for peace that surpasses all understanding, for comfort, and for the joy that only comes from the Lord. I'm grateful for His grace and assurance that this is not our permanent home and that there is a promise of eternal life in Heaven through Jesus.

And I look forward to that day to come, being reunited with my dad in heaven. Rejoicing, worshipping, and being with the very presence of the Ultimate Giver of Life — Jesus 🤍

So thankful for all your support in 2021. I commit to improving and giving you my best this year. All Glory to God always ☝🏻
