This is from the Martinez sisters regarding Jethro Martinez' erratic behavior:
"Hello Friends! We have been informed by several people (and counting) that our brother has been asking for financial help. As a family, we decided to address this matter before it gets out of hand.
June of this year he has been living independently. Due to some issues, we needed to release him from our family home. We have helped set up his own apartment and made sure that he can live comfortably.
If you are one of the people that he reached out to, here are our thoughts :
- If he borrows some money, he will not pay you back.
- If you release any of your personal items to him for whatever purpose, he will not return it.
- If you still want to send some financial help, some of it will be used for his “cost of living expenses” and some of it will be used for his vices.
- If he keeps bothering you, please block him.
- If he ask for help saying it is for our Dad or anyone for our family, this is not true.
We won’t discourage people from helping him out but just be mindful of what we posted here.
Rest assured that as a family we did not abandon nor stopped helping him when in need (just not in form of cash).
We are still praying that one day he will surrender his heart back to God 🙏🏼"
